    The perfect camera in it's class. Wonderfully easy to operate and understand, from beginner to advanced. Beautiful image quality and excellent control of quality focus range etc. If someone thinks this camera does not perform well enough then they need a camera in a different class. This is clearly the top camera in it's class and is priced perfectly.

    Definitely a great camera for an amateur photographer trying to get his/her feet wet with more creative photography. The manual mode on this camera allows you to experiment with various shutter and aperture settings and gives a lot of freedom for photography under different lighting conditions (along with various ISO stops). I can point out two defects though. One is the increasing noise in the picture when you increase the ISO above 400. Also, this camera doesn't record images in the RAW format. So if you're looking for doing fancy stuff with RAW images in photoshop, you may need to go for a higher model. But I find working with jpeg images all right for now. May take a while to actually feel the need for a higher end camera that record images in a better format.
