5 of 5 Great Camera Depending on What you're looking for Sunday, November 27, 2005
A Customer from Washington, DC

I got this camera because I was going on a trip to Europe and wanted something very portable but that could take great pictures. Originally I was looking for something in the 3 - 4 Megapixel range until I stumbled onto this camera. After exhaustive research I took the plunge and got it here from buy.com with the garnett color.

Pros - Takes great pictures. Is very portable (always smaller than the cameras of those around me plus I can store it in my pocket). Takes great night pictures once you mess with the settings a little, I often catch night pictures that simply show up black on other cameras. Looks great (a suprising plus). SD Memory, I'm able to simply take the card out and pop it into my computer. Rechargeable battery, no need to buy AA batteries. Manual settings don't require a degree in photography, I quickly was able to change the settings in order to take night pictures or to do something simple such as turn off the flash.

Cons. No viewfinder, which is not a bad thing for me but is for a lot of people (What I see on the screen is pretty much exactly what is going to be on the photo, which is not always the case with viewfinders). Digital zoom (If the zoom is digital, it's going to suck), I stick to the 1.3 - 2 zoom that the camera offers and no more, beyond that it does digital zooming, I have taken zoomed in pictures (without the digital zoom) and they came out ok. The carry case you can buy is a bit ugly not to mention bulky.

I have had this camera for about 3 months now and am more than happy I bought this one.

5 of 5 Small and Powerful Wednesday, November 24, 2004
Kristi from Ann Arbor, MI
This camera is small and beautiful and takes amazing pictures and movies. I just received it this morning and took very clear pictures at 5.0MP and movies at a very high 640 x 480 resolution. I have been looking for a small powerful camera with excellent photo quality for some time now, and I have found it in the Canon PowerShot SD20.
