5 of 5 Perfect for eBay Listing Closeups! Wednesday, September 14, 2005
Nancy from Wheaton, Illinois

I'm an avid eBay seller of collectible pins and other detailed items. In order to boost customer confidence, I need to zoom in and grab all the details. The closeup settings on these Powershot (I have an A-80 and A-95) are perfect for what I need. Also, the movable viewfinder allows me to get those ant's-eye angles from a sitting position instead of laying on the ground (the neighbors were starting to ask questions). I took the A-95 to Europe on a cruise and the girls raved about my photos. This is definitely the camera for me!

5 of 5 Excellent Point and Shoot Wednesday, August 24, 2005
A Customer from Rochester, NY
I bought one for my wife and son. My son took over 1000 photos in one week (don't ask) without a problem. My wife, who is completely tech illiterate, was taking pictures without a hitch. The modest zoom is nice and the rotating LCD is great for protecting the LCD when traveling.

5 of 5 Nice Point-n-Shoot Camera Thursday, August 04, 2005
Thomas from Denver
I bought this for my wife. She is some-what techie dysfunctional. She was using my Nikon and kept getting blurry, out of frame pictures. But with this camera, she is shooting like a semi-pro. I like the fact it uses AA batteries. No need to buy special, over-priced batteries. The fact it uses a CF card is nice too because my Nikons use the same. No need to purchase different technology. This is a great pocket (purse) camera that has most all the features one uses, and the 5MP is more than most weekend photographers need. I expected to pay between $200 - $300 for a quality camera, so Buy.com has a good price.

4 of 5 Great Camera Sunday, June 05, 2005
A Customer from San Francisco, CA
This is a great camera. It has the "bonehead" automatic options (full auto as well as other pre configured auto options as well... -- like portrait, landscape etc.) but it also has options for those who actually know how to use a non-auto camera (shutter speed, etc). It is very easy to use.

4 of 5 Best camera for the buck. Wednesday, May 25, 2005
Charles Doan from Ozark,MO.
The few complaints that I actually do have is that it comes with regular batteries, not rechargeable. The next would be that it goes through batteries quickly.I have mine running on 4 1850 mAh rechargeable batteries, will be looking for 2400 very soon. The camera is very easy to use, especially if you are used to Nikon Coolpix cameras.I found a lot of similar functions on this camera as I did on my old Coolpix 775.If any of you are looking for a camera that takes the picture as soon as you hit the button, get an SLR camera. This isn't really that slow,it's all in the autofocus,as you will be told by any camera expert. It comes with a 32 mb compactflash card, spend the money and get a 512 mb card(minimum)I have a 1 gig card and it comes in handy, especially when shooting video.I did give a couple of 4's in the 4 categories I had to grade on,but hey, nothing is perfect.I don't regret my purchase and you won't either.

5 of 5 Good value Monday, April 11, 2005
Christine from Farmingdale, NY
I am not a professional. That said, the image quality is very nice, but the paper you use for prints makes a huge difference. I also purchased the Canon Pixma 6000 printer. I tried Fuji, Xerox, and Canon paper. The Canon paper is by far the best, but you have to use the Pro paper. The only bad thing about this camera is serious shutter lag, I guess due to the AF viewfinder, especially indoors. The swivel screen is very convenient. I haven't used anything except the "Auto" setting, and am pleased with the results.
