Produces a photo lab quality 11" x 14" color photo in approximately 1 minute 23 seconds. A borderless 4" x 6" is out in 30 seconds, and an 8" x 10" is out in 50 seconds. Use two separate paper paths, including a front feeder for heavyweight paper types and fine art paper up to 13" x 19". Professional printer features Easy-PhotoPrint Pro (Plug-in software for Adobe Photoshop CS/CS2) and a printer driver with advanced color controls. Photo printer offers 42KB buffer/ram.

    Printer provides outstanding large - 13 inch x 19 inch color prints on a variety of materials. Canon products are outstanding. Yet to see ink usage since the printer is new to me (one month). Once I understood how to get the printer to interact with the computer, the process was flawless. Like the simple feature of moving the printer away from the back wall with the wheel - assist ease for more desk space when not using it as a large photo printer as well. product came quickly and flawlessly as well. Good initial experience - see how it works in a year !! Expect good things from Canon (and Buy.com).

    I have nothing but good things to say. I had read about the ink running out, but just had to print a lot of 13 x 19 prints for a presentation and it averaged about 18 prints before the ink went low on 1 or 2 of the tanks. The quality is outstanding especially on glossy paper. I'm going with a continuous ink system next. I haven't even started to play with all the bells and whistles. The dialog boxes are clear and intuitive. Overall very happy with my purchase.

    This printer is a breath of fresh air! I love the mechanics of it, like how the paper is handled and gotta have those see thru ink tanks. Allows you to just change the ink that is empty so you dont have to throw away the tri color cartridge (like HP) just cause one color ran out! Installation was not bad but I had to pay attention to the directions. The first photo I printed was excellent. Printing everyday junk, like copies of emails, is very fast especially in B&W. Cant wait to get some 13 x 19 paper to try out a large print. Cons: No USB Cable (Not a big deal) Size: Unit is like 2 feet wide 1 foot deep but needs alot of additional room to extend rear paper feeder and front tray but does have rear wheels to move it out from the wall.
