5 of 5 Easy setup and good quality printer 9/7/2010

I bought this printer only a few weeks ago. I've been very happy with it. The setup was very straight forward. I was little bit concerned that the photo printing quality may not be as good I my old Epson, since it uses only three color cartridges, but two black. But I tried printing some photos and the quality of the print is very decent. Of course I haven't done a lot of printing with it yet.

I've only used the scan option twice so far. I was able to figure it out just by the on screen choices. Quality of the scan was okay and will probably improve when I actually read all the instructions. Print quality is very good even on fast/draft option. I use this for my home based business and the ink level hasnt changed in in the 2+ weeks I've already been using it. The only draw back I've experienced so far is the paper size options. I do different sized labels with Print Shop and it doesn not like Avery 2163 mini sheets. I will try doing a little experiementing with layout to see if this will solve the problem but otherwise I would buy this printer again if needed. Great value for under $100 and even better when you take advantage of Buy.com special deals!

I actually own two of these and I have been very happy with them. They are low usage devices but fulfill a need at the two locations I have them installed. One is used in a wireless environment and occassionaly it loses the connectivity and I have to turn the printer off/on to use it. The software for scanning is impressive since it comes bundled for free. I agree with another reviewer that if you want decent printing results, use quality paper. If you use cheap paper then your results will not be satisfactory.

SWEET! I had been looking to replace my aging HP printer with an all in one. After my research I decided on the Canon MP560. I was in no hurry so I decided to wait to find the printer on sale and soon enough Buy.com came through with about 33% off! The printer arrived within a few days despite the free shipping which I have found to be slow at times. This printer is packed with features for the price. WiFi and duplex printing top the list. It took a couple of hours to unpack and set up the printer. Installing the software on my PC was very slow but I had no issues with the installation or WiFi configuration even though the instructions are written primarily for Windows Vista (I'm still using XP). I think that the pring quality is very good. I had read reviews that thought that the printing was "blurry" but then, they were using cheapo paper. I use ink jet paper. Copying and scanning are very easy to do. Scanning is much simpler than with my old stand alone flat bed scanner. Overall I am very pleased. This is one SWEET printer!
