The EOS Digital Rebel Camera from Canon packs an array of impressive features and definitive controls in a compact design. Canon's large-format, high-resolution CMOS sensor delivers fine accuracy with an effective 6.3 MP resolution. The EOS Digital Rebel uses a DIGIC Imaging Processor that generates natural color reproduction and precise detail. Also, DIGIC's enhanced processing improves the camera's battery performance, and adds to the camera's overall responsiveness and agility. The digital rebel features numerous White Balance options like Auto, Daylight, Shade, Overcast, Tungsten Bulb, Fluorescent Light, Flash and Custom to handle a wide range of color temperatures. With the 7-point Wide-Area AF System your shots will be in focus to capture memorable moments. The camera automatically employs one of 3 AF systems to let you seize every photo opportunity with fast, accurate focus. With continuous 2.5 frames-per-second advance, you’ll be able to capture split second action sequences. The camera incorporates 35-zone Evaluative Metering which ensures accurate, consistent exposure, taking into account lighting extremes and subject position. Simply turn the command dial and the camera's settings are automatically optimized for stunning portraits, sweeping landscapes, highly-detailed close-up shots, dynamic sports images and properly exposed night portraits. A handy Flash-off mode is also available. A mode dial gives you easy access to shooting controls to make even one-handed shooting comfortable. Cross Keys are located right under your thumb to control digital functions through the LCD screen.
