I've purchased refurbished Sansa MP3 players from Buy.com, and have been quite happy with them. The down side is that they didn't come with lanyards. I looked through the options here at Buy.com, and this one seemed reasonably priced. The two previous comments were very positive, so I gave it a try. I'm impressed.
The only confusing part for me was the lack of installation instructions. No, I'm not a complete idiot - there is more than one way to design a lanyard. Those made by Sansa unscrew so you can thread the twine through the opening on the MP3 player, tie a know, then screw the thingie back together. I tried to take this one (by Canon) apart, but it apparently doesn't come apart. Instead, you thread the loop through the MP3 player, then feed the lanyard through the loop. Difficult to describe; easy to accomplish.

I was looking for a nice lanyard for some time to carry my flash drive. This works beautifully. The braided chain looks great, and it is covered with something clear, so the chain does not actually touch you. The little part that connects the chain together seems a bit big, but does not bother me at all. I actually wear this between my tshirt and outer shirt. Was this review helpful?

This is not metal looking string, it is a real strong metal braid with clear rubber over it so it wont catch on your skin! I love it, I have a PRADA phone, purchased bc my Dolce&Gabbana phone was stolen so I wanted a KICK BUTT cord to wear my phone around my neck, THIS IS PERFECT, I WILL BUY MORE FOR FAMILY.Whether it is for a camera, phone, mp3, it doesnt matter, this is perfect!
