When the Cables to Go SanDisk Sansa Compatible Travel Kit came in the mail, I immediately saw it was for a different model MP3 than the one I have. I switched out one cable with the one cable that came with my MP3 player and it was perfect. I just rode out a hurricane and had no way to recharge my MP3 player. Now I have two ways. I bought 2 (one for me and one for my son). It is a perfect kit of items if you own a Sansa MP3 player. It also has a great 'slot' for your Sansa player if you are traveling and want to protect it with lots of padding. The size is perfect and the items in the kit are everything you need. I bought this before I went on vacation with my family and it worked wonders. Having the auxiliary cord alone was worth it, having high quality music in the car the whole trip. Having all the accessories for your mp3 player readily available when you travel is convenient, and getting them all in a case for $20 with free shipping is a real deal. My only complaint is the size. I would have a hard time fitting it in my attache case. The case is huge compared to the minuscule size of most players.
There's enough dense foam in this case to drop it from an airplane, overkill considering that most of the components are pretty much indestructible. If you only travel by car and and have plenty of space, the size is not an issue, but for air travel or backpacking, there surely is a more compact case available.
There is a mesh pocket available, by the way, for the player and extra flash cards, contrary to one misleading review, but a dedicated foam-enclosed slot for the player and putting the less fragile cables in a mesh pocket might have been a better design. Was this review helpful?

The Cables-to-Go kit for my Sansa mp3 player arrived in short order and was all that was advertised. It is quite possibly one of the slickest products I've ever bought. Whoever came up with the idea for using the USB style adapters was a genius. The case was a little larger than I'd expected, but no bother. Everything fits neatly in it and it fits in my backpack perfectly. Unfortunately, the day I got it, I accidentally burned up my Sansa, so I'm online right now ordering another one. Thanks for the great product and I can't wait to use it on my new one. (No, I didn't burn up my Sansa with this kit, for those of you who were wondering.) Was this review helpful?

This has everything you need and is ideal just to have in the car since it has the aux plug and DC power adapter. Also the sansa does charge while it is plugged into the USB on your computer but it will not play while connected so I have the wall adapter at work. This has saved me from needing to bring wires with me and since my girlfriend has the same thing we each have a cable at work and one we share at home. Was this review helpful?
