1 of 5 Misleading Ad Saturday, March 01, 2008 A Customer from Portola Valley, CA
As others noted, the dock does not support iPod Classic video. Don't waste your money on this if you want to play video on your television. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Misadvertised by Buy.com. Do not purchase as Buy. Sunday, February 17, 2008 A Customer from San Diego, CA
I purchased this for my iPod Classic. However, the video dock does not work with the iPod Classic as advertised. As I didn't get a chance to use this until a few days after the 14 day return policy from Buy.com they will not support the faulty purchase despite their incorrect advertisement that all iPods with dock connectors are supported. Very unhappy with the purchase. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Video Does not work Thursday, February 07, 2008 Poggi from White Plains NY
I purchased this for my Apple Itouch, directions were minimal. Sound came through, no video. Bad part is that these cable are considered electronics so they cannot be returned. If you own an Itouch save your money don't buy these cable, only the ones sold at the Apple Stores will work ($49). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 What a deal! Saturday, February 02, 2008 Bob from Waterville, Ohio
All of the components work very well and it really expands the capabilities of the ipod. It is a great value! Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 won't work with ipod classic Wednesday, January 30, 2008 skysky1 from denver, co
Title says it all...the item description implies that it
will work with any ipod that plays video, but it won't! See some of the other reviews. It appears that you're just lucky if it works with yours. If these people are in the business of making money on these products they should learn more about them and reveal their incompatabilities. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Does NOT work with IPOD Touch!!! Wednesday, January 30, 2008 Richard from Huntsville, Alabama
Buyer beware! I should have read the reviews. I bought this kit for the purpose of connecting to my TV and using the remote. Neither video out or the remote will work with the IPOD Touch (or newer IPOD devices). Buy.com should correct their advertising!!!! Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Not as advertised Tuesday, January 29, 2008 jesse_b from williamsburg, ohio
The description directly states that it works with the iPod classic, but as other reviewers have noted, it does not. Okay value for stereo connector and remote, but quality is only fair, and that's not what I bought it for. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Not for Ipod Classic Tuesday, January 29, 2008 A Customer from New London, CT
The product is not compatible with the Ipod Classic for transmitting Video. The internal packaging does not even make reference to the Ipod Classic. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 Doesn't support video for 5th Gen or IPod Touch Tuesday, January 29, 2008 A Customer from Rochester Hills, MI
Docking kit does not support video out for either 5th Gen or IPod Touch. CablesToGo Tech Support confirmed this. Referred to 5th Gen as "one of the newer IPods".
Audio cables and Remote functionality does work on both 5th Gen and IPod Touch.
OK cable kit for the price, but can't play movies like I wanted. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 Doesn't work with iPod Touch Monday, January 28, 2008 A Customer from Arlington, VA
This product will not display the video output of the iPod Touch nor does the wireless remote work with the Touch. Audio cables and the charging cables work fine. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Does not work with Ipod Classic Friday, January 11, 2008 JR from easton pa
Video out to composite does not work with Ipod Classic model as advertised. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Not as advertised Friday, January 11, 2008 J R from easton, pa
Dont buy this if you want to play video from the new Ipod Classic model. Apparently it is incompatible - something that the ad failed to mention.
The audio hookup to the stereo works fine - but 50+ dollars for that one piece to work is money wasted.

this product doesn't work with the G3 ipod nano. will not recognize remote or show video on television, audio seems to work, but nothing else. if you own an ipod nano G3 i would suggest staying away from this one. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good price, some issues with Ipod Classics Friday, December 07, 2007 A Customer from Dunellen, NJ
I bought this not knowing if IPod Classics were fully supported, but it seemed possible, and to include a lot of miscellaneous cables for the price.
Ideally I was looking to get composite video output to TV, but didn't want to pay $50 for the Ipod cable and no dock.
For IPod Classics - it appears this may or may not support S-Video to TV, some of the cables included should work fine. The dock in general appears to have partial support for Classic, audio works, some remote functions work, have to dig out an S-Video adapter to test that Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 3G Nano Problems Thursday, December 06, 2007 A Customer from Columbia, SC
Great deal for the money. However, I have a 3rd generation Nano and they changed the pin settings on this version. Unable to view video output using the supplied cable. Audio works fine. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Avoid Friday, November 30, 2007 Rajeev from Westlake, OH
This is a package of various accessaries you need for charging or playing your iPod with other music system. While accessaorues for charging are just fine. The most disappointing thing is iPod Dock. It includes the remore, but switching off doc with remote does not switch off ipod doc. you need to first stop the player, and then swich off the ipod dock power. ipod dock has connecction to play video, but it did not play video off my ipod touch. Seriously, avoid this porduct, even though the price offered is extremly attractive. However, it is still a good price if you want to just use the ipod charger and other cables and throw away the ipod dock. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great product! Tuesday, June 05, 2007 AS from San Diego, CA
I have been using most of the cables since I received the product (the exception is the SD cable) and have had nothing but success! All appear to be of good quality and have not let me down. The SD cable is somewhat cumbersome, but my understanding is that ALL SD cables are....otherwise, nothing but satisfaction. Great for the price. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Works great! Wednesday, January 24, 2007 Dee from St. Charles MO
I was going to get this for my son for Christmas, but the iPod store wanted $100.00. For less than half the price, this is awesome. Took him maybe 5 minutes to connect to our theater system and now we can watch the movies he downloads and rock with surround sound!! Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Really great product for the price! Sunday, January 07, 2007 A Customer from Decatur, GA
This AV connection kit gives me everything I need to make my Ipod a really better product. I am sitting here watching videos with my docking station connected to my computer and my speakers connected to the docking station. Really nice. One of the best purchases I've made since buying my 5th generation 60G Ipod. Was this review helpful?
2 of 2 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Nice Dock & Cables for a Great Price Sunday, January 07, 2007 Mike from San Diego, CA
I purchased this kit from Buy.com with a little skepticism...Apple offers a similar product for $99 and I got this for about $40 after rebate. The dock is good (I wish it were a little heavier) and the remote covers the basic iPod functions from a decent distance. The key was the cables that came with the kit -- S-video, Composite Video, another Composite Video and audio cables...along with two Power Adapters. For the price, it can't be beat!!!
