5 of 5 Pretty Complete Deal Thursday, October 09, 2008 A Customer from Hayden, Alabama
There was ample cable, sufficient RJ45 pieces and a crimping tool. The RJ45 ends were not the best quality. They didn't click into place and secure the cable as expected when plugged into the NIC. But they did hold enough to work. The included tester was sweet. I replaced each end a few times based on the tester showing issues. Finally I figured out I just needed to recrimp the RJ45s again harder. The pins finally set and my network is up and running. Once you get the correct color pattern in the wire, crimping it securely is the final step. Then share the bandwidth Was this review helpful?
