Very easy to use(you have to buy your own M/F VGA cable to hook the slitter up to your computer and have your own M/M vga cables to run from the slitter to your monitor(the monitor one,you already have if you're using a monitor, it's the one that connects it to your computer) and tv or projector)I use this to view what's on my computer on my LCD tv and monitor. I just shut off whichever I"m not using at the time. When I first hooked it up I could only see my computer screen on my monitor, even tho prior to hooking up the splitter I was just using my tv as a monitor. My tv is a widescreen LCD and my monitor is a LCD(i think) but it is kinda square, not widescreen. I had to change the graphics resolution to what both tv and monitor support. Now when i use the monitor, sometimes i change the resolution temporarily(because what works on both, is too big on my monitor). I'm not sure how well the amplified part works. I am using a 25 foot VGA(d-sub) cable to my tv and it looks great. But it looked great when I had the cable hooked up prior to using the splitter. I added all the stuff about cables you will need, for people like me, who have absolutely no idea what they're doing. I just wanted to be able to use either my tv or monitor with one computer. And I did it, using this splitter! Was this review helpful?
