While the focus here is mostly on edgy guitar rock, the compilation mixes it up quite well. The offerings range from the surf-reggae of 311 to the power pop of Everclear to the relentless nu-metal of Papa Roach to the post-grunge of Creed to the infectiously droning rock of Our Lady Peace.

It's a good selection of 18 Alternative Rock songs, but it's only 1 CD. The version advertised by Razor & Tie is a two disc set with 30 songs. Same cover art, but this one is the budget version. Good none-the-less.
