BUSlink USB 3.0 RFID AES Encrypted Drive is locked and unlocked by tagging the RFID card to an RFID sensor in drive enclosure, which avoids the need to remember a decryption passphrase. The RFID secured card matches a chip on the bridge board in order to gain access to the hard drive content. Without this card, the data on the hard drive will remain encrypted, inaccessible, and invisible to the OS - even if the drive is connected to the computer. |
