From the very first episode of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and throughout the course of its run of almost a decade, the show set the standard for quality television entertainment. Picking up where the relatively disappointing film left off, the show followed Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) on her quest to rid the world of vampires, demons, and various other evil beings. A small band of friends were there to help her out, which included the vampire convert Angel (David Boreanaz), vampire and ambivalent love interest Spike (James Marsters), popular girl Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter), regular guy Xander (Nicholas Brendon), and intellectual Willow (Alyson Hannigan). This collection includes the entirety of the show, allowing fans to trace the evolution of Buffy's relationships, fashion sense, and success at battling her true demon: her strong desire to be normal.

One of the best made shows on TV.
I was reluctant to give this show a chance, but my husband wanted to watch it. I am so glad that I watched it with him. The show was so fresh, funny, and amazing that it soon became my favorite show.
I enjoy watching the episodes over and over, especially "Once More with Feeling" (the musical - and I hate musicals as a rule) and any episode with Spike in it. Was this review helpful?

Nice display case with color pictures on each CD of different characters from the show. You can pick your favorite scene of a given show through the menu driven process. The Buffy series has a good blend of comedy, action, and drama. I will introduce the CD set to my children at the appropriate time. Was this review helpful?

i didn't understand what the fuss was about until i watched this series in it's entirety. i bought the first season box set a while back, but didn't really give it a chance. only until i watched firefly and worked my way backwards did it make more sense to me. some of the most affecting TV ever made.
the box comes with a dvd with extra stuff, and a nice booklet with an episode by episode runthrough. otherwise, it's the same stuff from the 7 boxes. Was this review helpful?

I completely recommed buying this box-set.I am really enjoying it. I have been a fan since the beginning and I still continue watching the re-runs. It's a great show. What's also great is that it doesnt take up a lot of shelf space. Definitely recommended it to anyone. Was this review helpful?
