Small, compact, quiet. Very easy to setup and get working. And, best of all, it goes to sleep and spins down the hard drive automatically when you turn off or put to sleep your computer. Was this review helpful?

This was just what I was looking for. I wanted 3 things, and this box has them:
1. Easy way to backup all of my photos and documents.
2. Print server.
3. Media streaming to Xbox.
I haven't tried the Web access and the Backup software is very basic, though totally functional, and I could use another USB slot...but I would highly recommend this product to my friends. It's perfect for the price. Was this review helpful?

The specs and functionality list are impressive. I was very glad to find out that some company finally came up with a product that has 500GB of storage along with Bit Torrent built-in! Everything works very well, but the noise level seems a bit louder than I expected. I don't think it is the fan that is humming, but the hard drive seems to be emitting a low frequency sound. Wish there is an option to make the hard drive spin down to lower the noise level. Overall, I'd recommend this product to my friends!

This drive is exactly what I was looking for. It works great and is really easy to setup. If you are a beginner to security and storage you may have to work with it a little, but it is really not that difficult and it does what it is supposed to. I wish the Memeo Backup software was licensed for more than one computer. It doesn't state that licensing is limited to one system and the reason I bought it was to back up the families computers. It is still a great drive and works like I had envisioned. Was this review helpful?

This one is really quiet. I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of products out there. This one delivers on everything for the price. NAS, iTunes Server, FTP Server, Printer Server, GBit Ethernet. Some of the others did not have all this. I am a little leary of using the Web feature just yet. Locking down user access may be a bit confusing. It would be perfect if it had two USB ports. One for a printer and one for a USB drive. FTPing files was much faster than Windows drag and drop. Was this review helpful?
