Using the software it came with this drive was a breeze hooking up. I have it connected to a 2Wire dsl modem/wireless router. Once you run the setup software on one PC all PC's on the network recognize the drive as "L:" under Network Places. I bought this primarily for backing up 2 laptops and a desktop on my home network. I would NOT recommend using the Memeo software the unit comes with for backup. The Windows Backup works just fine, is easier and a lot faster. I have a desktop XP Pro, and two Vista Home Premiums on the network. No problem with my work laptop accessing it (Vista Ultimate). Great for file sharing also. Was this review helpful?

Very fast NAS. I am using it with two Mac Notebooks, both using Time Machine. TM isn't as simple to set up as it alludes, but there are good articles on the web that will get you there quickly.
Web Interface is full featured, a little slow, reboots the NAS a lot when you are making config changes, which can be annoying.
Overall, I'm super happy with it, lots of space, fast, great options, and supports Time Machine natively. The Web sharing is great, SSL, and password protection. Was this review helpful?
