3 of 5 Good for the money Friday, November 21, 2008
John Schultz, ePro from Scottsdale, AZ

Gets the job done. A little bulkier than I had hoped and hard to get to stay in my ear at first, but got it adjusted. Sometimes doesn't want to "pick up", but 98% of the time works like it should. I'll keep using it until it dies.

1 of 5 It Doesn't Work! Thursday, June 26, 2008

5 of 5 Cheap and poor performance Wednesday, June 25, 2008
A Customer from Redmond, WA
This Bluetooth headset actually was easy to set up, but fit very poorly in my ear, and kept falling off. The materials are cheap plastic, and the buttons have poor tactile feedback. As I bought this just to use in the car, it is more distracting than holding my Treo in my hand, so I will not be using it. At $10, overpriced in my opinion.

1 of 5 piece of crap Tuesday, June 24, 2008
A Customer from Miami Beach, FL
It worked for no longer than 2 days. People on the other end could hardly hear me. The only good thing is that it costs 10 bucks and I used a google checkout coupon for 10 dollars so it didn´t cost me anything.

2 of 5 It's cheap and it works, but it can hardly stay on Monday, June 23, 2008
A Customer from White Plains, NY
I had no problem connect the headphone with my Motorola phone. It works well as long as I don't leave the phone too far away from the headphone. My biggest complaint is that it's so uncomfortable to wear it. It's hard to keep it on my ear.

2 of 5 OEM Bluetooth Headset Monday, June 23, 2008
loanguys from Springfield OR
For the price, I didn't expect much from this bluetooth and, unfortunately, that is what I got. The main problem I have is that the ear holder is too big for most anyone except an elephant. Also, it won't dial from the headset, or at least, I can't get it to. Also, it seems to have a very short battery life

1 of 5 Not working for me... Sunday, June 22, 2008
kc from Lorain, Ohio
I cannot get this item to work with any of our blue tooth phones. This headset did not come with instructions and the manual for the phone did not help. I have searched online with no luck. Any suggestions??? Or did I simply "get what I paid for"?

3 of 5 Utilitarian, but fine Wednesday, June 18, 2008
rusty from South El Monte, CA
I Received this, but without the promised instruction manual. Some internet searching turned up the code ('0000'), and with a bit of guessing based on previous experience I got it connected to my cell phone just fine. Callers hear me and I hear them. The hear hook is not reversible, so I must always wear it on my right ear, and it was quite uncomfortable at first but after a lot of playing with the hook (bending it into different positions) it's now just fine too. It's no beauty, but it's cheap and it works and that's exactly what I was looking for.

3 of 5 Would have helped if device came with user manual Tuesday, June 17, 2008
Baycitywalker from Crockett< Ca
Item arrived fast and shipping was free. I suppose it was a good value at 10 bucks, but having never owned or worked with a bluetooth device, it sure would have helped if the device would have come with an instruction manual. I contacted buy.com, but they were no help. I Spent hours searching the web for a copy of a user manual. One of the reasons it was so hard to locate one , is because this generic 21C is actually made by Sprint. Bottom line.... it took me over a week to figure out how this thing worked. Now that I finally have it paired and connected to my Razr V3 phone ,it seems to work fine. Sound quality seems OK. If nothing else I educated myself on bluetooth technology.

1 of 5 No Manual found Tuesday, June 17, 2008

Myself and few of my colleagues got this product. But there was no manual found on the packet and so bluetooth was not useful for any of us. Just wondering is there a way to get the manual?

1 of 5 No Instructions Tuesday, June 17, 2008
Lou from California
For ten dollars, it was worth a try. When it arrived, there were no instructions and I had to play with the buttons until I got it to work. Very frustrating. Sound quality is below fair. I definitely would not buy another one. I hope that helps.

5 of 5 Xlnt value, works great! Tuesday, June 17, 2008
Esky from Carlsbad, CA
OK, I wasn't expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised. This headset (mine was rebranded with a paper sticker, when I took that off I found a major carrier's name printed into the plastic.) Guess I was lucky, I got a 1-page user guide which explained how it works. Sound is really good, volume is plenty loud (I had to turn it down to about half,) people I talk to don't know I'm using a headset until I tell them. Had it now for a couple of weeks & I'm still on the 1st charge, so it lasts a long time. I'm very happy, would certainly buy again! Oh, and it doesn't fit INTO your ear, it hangs outside of ear on ear hook which can be bent into what's comfortable, perfect for me but maybe not for others. Fits pretty snug once I got it adjusted right. (Earhook pulls out of bottom of unit & can be switched around to use in either ear.)

4 of 5 Compact and clear Tuesday, June 17, 2008
A Customer from St. Louis, MO
Voice clarity is good at both ends. But the only daunting task is to make the device stick onto the ear. I guess it is something to do with the design. But overall the product is well worth the money.

1 of 5 Nobody is responsible for this useless junk Monday, June 16, 2008
A Customer from Lancaster, CA
The BT-407 was received without user instructions. I emailed buy.com and was told to contact the manufacturer since buy.com did not make the product nor package it; buy.com has no user instructions available. I cannot contact the manufacturer, because the product and the shipping container did not provide a manufacturer's name. A search on the Internet using the product model number provided no leads. So, I just tossed $10.00 into the trash.

2 of 5 You get what you pay for! Monday, June 16, 2008
Anonymous from Michigan
This headset does not come with the user guide (although the description above states that it does), but if you enter the model number from the back of the headset into a search engine, you can find it online - it's actually on the FCC website. After doing some research in the attempt to find a manual, I found out that if you peel the sticker off the headset, there's a Sprint logo underneath! The sound quality seems to be decent, but I can't get the thing to stay on my ear. I've read in several places that other people have had the same issue. I've had other earbuds in the past, and this is the first time I've had this problem (my ears are normal to large size). The hook isn't very flexible, so you can't make it conform. The hook does easily snap off the end of the earbud and turn around so you can use it on either ear. Mine came set up for use in the left ear. I haven't tried using mine in the car. I'm afraid it will fly out the window. Not that that would be a huge loss...

4 of 5 great price performance ok Monday, June 16, 2008
Mike from Salt Lake City, UT
The product looks great and was very inexpensive. Easy to use and setup with my phone (although it did not come with instructions in my box. Lucky for me I guessed right how to set it up based on previous experience. Performance - The headset tends to flop around on my ear. I try to use the bendable ear holder to push it flush into my ear but it doesn't always stay. if it is not held correctly in my ear then the other person hears a high pitched screeching sound which I assume sis feedback. Most of the time it works great and I've only charged it once (I've had it for two weeks) I use it when commuting to and from work (35 minutes each way) and then turn it off when not in use. It doesn't come with a car charger which is a bummer but for ten bucks I'm satisfied

4 of 5 Mine works fine Monday, June 16, 2008
A Customer from Muskegon, MI
I've never used a BlueTooth device before, but have used plenty of wired headsets. This device provided me the same sound quality as any other headset I had used. I only had a few opportunities to use it though, because shortly after receiving it, my smart-phone died and I'm back to using my old flip-phone. The few people I spoke to said they could hear me clearly. The device fits comfortably, but seems like it could fit a little more snugly in the ear.

4 of 5 Good Cheap Started Headset Monday, June 16, 2008
Ryan from Charlotte, NC
I bought this for my wife who recently got a phone with blue tooth. It came with no instructions and when i called buy.com about it they told me that i needed to send the whole thing back and wait on a new one. It took so long to get it in the first place that I refused and asked them to simply scan me a copy of it. After hours of searching the web i found a copy online along with a long list of people that also did not receive instructions. Buy.com was supposed to have a "higher up call me" about it but it never happened. Once you get it set up it is great for the one using it, although the volume could be louder, for the person on the other end that is alot of echo. But hey for $10 shipped its not too bad and she can keep both hands free. Also it says that it is generic, but if you peel the sticker that is on it off it says "sprint" underneath. This will help you find the instructions if you received one with out.

4 of 5 Excellent value Sunday, June 15, 2008
Sarkazmo from Fairmont, WV
PRO: It works, it's light weight, it fits well after you've shaped the ear piece to your ear, and it's got a built in battery. Simple to use as there's only the power/answer/hang up button and volume up and volume down. Holds a charge for a VERY long time. This is a Sprint headset but it's got a sticker over the Sprint name. CON: You get the ear piece and the charger and that is it! No instructions, no nothing. Bluetooth range is somewhat limited but shouldn't be an issue if your phone's in your pocket or close by. Shipping was SLOOOOOOOW. Other thoughts: To bind to your phone you need to hold down the Vol- button while you hold the power button in to power on. Make sure your phone is setup to find bluetooth devices first.

3 of 5 50/50 Sunday, June 15, 2008
goat6500 from columbus, OH
Of the numerous, inexpensive BT headsets I've tried, I will say that this one seemed to have the clearest sound reception/transmission and have the most solid battery life of all of them. All my conversions were loud and clear and it seemed like forever before it needed charged again. But of the numerous, inexpensive BT headset I've tried I would also say this one had the worst exterior design of them all. There is no earbud, just a small 'bump' on the underside where the speaker is and is not secure in your ear at all without the hook. And the hook is a horrible, flexible metal(encased in rubber) rod which you have to bend, unbend and rebend every time you use it. Even after manhandling it(and your ear) around the lobe, it's still very lose and would fly out of your ear if you whipped your head around fast. I'd be super-ticked and it would be in the trash if it didn't have great performance. I'd like to take the innards out of it and put it inside a headset with an earbud but would take more than 30 seconds and this was only $10. Meh. I'll probably end up using this and it will last forever, like that those semi-uncomfortable work shoes that you can't bring yourself to throw away but they never seem to wear out. Whatever....

A Customer from diamond bar, ca
price is very low, but it has no documentation, it does not fit in my ear, so I cannot use it. I regret that I ordered it. I want to return, but the price was so low and I did not want to bother with it. I will just throw away. Yes, it is trash.

4 of 5 where are the instructions? Sunday, June 15, 2008
A Customer from Centerville, Utah
I never did want to become one of those walking around with a headset like this in the ear. But I really need a headset, so I figured for the price, it was worth a try. I was disappointed that there were no instructions. I charged it up and pushed the buttons and nothing. I was ready to write a bad review, which I hate to do because Buy.com has been great for me. I finally held the on-off button down for about 10 seconds and the blue light turned on. So, excited, I turned on my phone and tried to detect it - but nothing. Again, frustrated, I found the reviews for the device on the internet and found one person that claims to have found the instructions online. I wish he/she would have given the address for them because I looked and found nothing. I did finally find some instructions for another device, and made some educated guesses. Turn the device on, and then immediately hold down one of the other buttons for a few seconds, and it goes into a flashing mode. Then the phone finds it, and you can enter the code (0000). Then it works, and the sound is quite good. You have to fiddle with the flexible ear holder, but then that works also. Now, if I could just figure out how to get it to answer a call (almost think I have it).

5 of 5 For the price, it does its job. Sunday, June 15, 2008
Skeeter from Monmouth, OR
Pros: It's inexpensive, easy to set up, has pretty good volume, okay battery life, and comes with its own charger. Cons: It's cheaply made and not designed to be worn all day as you run around from office to office, over to the Starbucks, jump into the cab, fly to the business meeting, then shoot some hoops on your lunch break. But if you just want a cheap, simple, easy to use bluetooth headset to wear while you're driving or sitting at your desk, this one is great.

4 of 5 A fine headset Sunday, June 15, 2008
A Customer from Kenmore, WA
I've been using mine for about a week. It arrived without a documentation, used the model number to find it online. Cheap sticker with logo almost poked my eyes out, but it was easy to remove. Paired easily with my phone and has worked fine since. No problem with reception. The ear hook is bendable and can be adjusted to any ear size, but the plastic end is scratchy and uncomfortable.

5 of 5 Works great. Sunday, June 15, 2008
DRF from Harrisburg, Pa
The only thing negative was that the box had no paperwork of any kind, including a users guide. Customer service said to either return it or contact the manufacturer. Since there was no paperwork I didn't know who the manufacturer was. I figured out how to use it despite lack of instructions. Also found out that this product was a Sprint product by peeling off the decal. I was able to download a user guide from another website. This product is a Primax PHS-3 Customer service could improve on how to deal with this situation.

5 of 5 Great valued buy! Sunday, June 15, 2008
A Customer from OB, NJ
I'm very pleased with this headset, an excellent buy when I caught it and it works excellent. Only issue I had was that it came with no instruction manual, so I had to search online for how to sync it up with my cell phone. For those looking for how to do it, you press and hold the center button until the light on the piece comes on, then press and hold both volume up and volume down button until it flashes red and blue back and forth. Then use the item you want to sync it with to search for the device, and you're all set to go!

5 of 5 Surprise, surprise Sunday, June 15, 2008
A Customer from Vail, AZ
I probably own more Bluetooth headsets than anybody--and I never use most of them. I have a hard ear to fit, and I keep buying headsets with the hope that one will actually fit-and they never do. So I figured that a $10 headset was worth a shot. I have been pleasantly surprised with this one. It actually fits and has been comfortable to wear. The sound is pretty good overall. It isn't the prettiest headset that I have seen, but at least I can use it.

4 of 5 Value for money Friday, June 13, 2008
N K from Federal Way, WA
The product arrived swiftly and the setup was a breeze. I did not have any problem listening the caller neither did they. The only issue that I see is its inability to stay on my ear. This may be because I have small ears, but I have a hunch that it is not going to be as smooth as expected. But it is good for my first bluetooth headset. I am very satisfied with it.

4 of 5 Great Deal for the Price Thursday, June 12, 2008
ute kid from south florida
I don't plan to walk around with one of these hanging off my ear; I just wanted something to keep in the car & this is good for that--especially for this price! I was pleasantly surprised that it came with the charger, & I found the instructions pretty simple, and it pairs easily with my Blackberry Curve. People say they can hear me well with it & I also can hear them well with it in the car, where it is often noisy. Plus now I can talk hands-free & drive. It isn't the best looking Bluetooth device I've seen (plastic), & the fit is kind of clunky; & falls off my ear easily (+ I really haven't figured out how it is easily changed to use in the left ear)...but it serves the purpose I got it for. If you want to look cool & walk around wearing yours all the time, you'd probably be happier with a more expensive device, but this little plastic job works fine for my purpose.

3 of 5 Decent Headset, but won't stay in ear. Wednesday, June 11, 2008
A Customer from San Diego, CA
Pretty good headset, especially for the price, IF IT FITS YOUR EAR. When it stays on, the sound quality and performance is pretty good. Easy to pair to your phone. Great for the money. But unfortunately for me, doesnt fit right. I definitely prefer my new Jabra BT8040 (which obviously was a lot more money, but worth it for me). Might be worth the money for you, if it fits, you get a great bargain.

3 of 5 Great deal but has limitations Wednesday, June 11, 2008
A Customer from Wichita, KS
First off, it is made with plastic (no metal whatsoever, except the chip inside which is silicon, close to metal as possible). It looks and feels cheap. Secondly, it doesn't fit in my ear regardless of what I do and how I bend it - it just does not stay in my ear - maybe it's my ears.... Lastly, the quality of this product is not bad. I can hear and talk fine - I did have some trouble a few times but overall, it's pretty good. I wouldn't recommend this product unless you are buying to use it infrequently. You do get what you pay for - I haven't used any other bluetooth headset but my assumption is that there are ones out there that fit in the ear and look/feel great.

5 of 5 Works well, bargain price Wednesday, June 11, 2008
A Customer from Valley Stream, NY
I'm told that I can be heard better on this one than on the Soyo I bought recently, and this one sounds fine to me. The ear strap is flexible and holds the shape you bend it to. The ringer sound is pretty faint, but it's loud enough to hear when driving, even with the windows down. Setup is simple and hassle free. The volume button is fine, but the on/off/call/answer button is a bit cumbersome because it blends into the surface of the device very well, and needs to pressed a bit harder than it really should - but once you learn it using it just becomes second nature. Battery time is good, like they advertise, my handset battery dies before the earpiece does. They should start including car chargers with these tings. Perfectly functional, good quality unit for a BARGAIN price. Only rason I didn't give it a 5 for performance is because I can't hear how I sound on it to other people.

5 of 5 Best Deal on Bluetooth Headset Monday, June 09, 2008
A Customer from Holts Summit, MO
This headset is fantastic, especially for the price. Fits on my ear just fine and works with all phones I have...blackberry, old samsung, new samsung...there are no instructions that come with it so you either have to google how to get it to work or after playing with the buttons remember the code to use it is '0000'. I have no problems with this headset, and I bought three of them.

A Customer from Union, NJ
I am very dissapointed with how this product is packaged without a Setup Instruction manual. I received mine a week ago but don't know how to activate it.

1 of 5 Junk! Friday, June 06, 2008
A Customer from Michigan
My phone won't find it. I'm searching the web but not finding any manual (it comes with nothing), and it won't stay on my ear. What a waste of 10 bucks!
