The PT-2100 PC-connectable labeling system has an eye catching design that is sleek and aerodynamic in shape and size. The PT-2100 allows you to create labels exactly the way you want with the 16 character x 3 line display featuring 4 sharp fonts. The “Preview” key allows you to check your text before printing. This unit prints on up to 3/4” wide laminated tape for indoor/outdoor use.

The PT-2100 features 7 type sizes, 10 type styles and 92 different symbols. The Labeling System package includes AC adapter, black on white laminated starter tape, P-touch Editor software, user manual and warranty.

I use this at work to label boxes and shelves. It works great.You can purchase many different sizes and colors of refill labels at staples stores. I used a $30 discount and got it for $31, incredable deal for that price.

This is a great label maker. I keep it on my desk and use it whenever I need to make a file label or address label. Being able to change the font, label size and direction is very convenient. I have bought three now to have at different office locations. I wish there were some way to save on wasted label cut-offs.

This labelmaker was very easy to set up with my PC. The interface was good, but even better once I downloaded the update from Brother. I would highly recommend this unit if you want the options available from your computer and if you like tapes that are much easier to separate from their backing.

Works as described. Simple to use. Tape splits down the middle of backing for easy removal of label. Loading several labels before printing cuts down on wasted tape when printing and cutting.

this labeler is very easy to set up and makes almost any type of label required, may make any type requied, i just don't need anything it won't do. i haven't even hooked it pc just using for general labeling, storage,cd cases, wiring ect. would probably not have paid full price for what i needed it for, but as always, be patient and buy.com comes thru. would easily recommend/

Talk about simple and uncomplicated. This product has made my life easier. I have used it to label files (and now I can actually find documents). I have also labeled cables, parts bins, etc. My son has even used it for school projects. I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in getting organized and making their life easier.

This is the second Brother's label printer I have purchased. The 1st was a refurb unit I got off Ebay that I paid $90 for. When I saw this one on Buy.com for their low price I just couldn't pass it up. Whether you want to use it free standing or hook it to your computer with a USB printer cable (not included btw) IMHO you will be completely satisfied. There is a wide range of label tape available for this printer. Do some price shopping for the best buy on label tape. There is some bargains to be had. I highly recommend this printer for use with a PC.

I'm impressed with the variety of printing that can be done with it, both stand-alone and hooked to a PC. Its quick and easy to print a simple label or you can spend a little longer and design something fancy. My only complaint is that it wastes label tape when you aren't printing labels in batch mode. The print head needs to be closer to the cutter so there can be less leading and trailing space without waste. I also wish the label tapes cost less.

I purchased this labeling system because it does bar-codes. I have a rather large collection of second-hand DVD's, and needed a quick and easy way to bar-code the UPC symbols to add them into my automated DVD Database. This unit prints bar-codes in all the standard formats perfectly. I highly recommend it.
