5 of 5 Nice Add On Wednesday, August 27, 2008 Brad from Rock Springs, Wy
I added this product to the MFC-9840CDW and now the people using the product can put entire reams of paper in this tray and legal size paper in the upper tray. Good idea for people using both sizes. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It's a paper tray Tuesday, August 12, 2008 A Customer from Orlando, FL
Pros: Matches the color and styling of your Brother printer. Easy to install (but you'll still need two people to lift the printer). Holds a lot of paper (specifications say 500 sheets of 20 lb paper, I got about 450+ sheets of 24 lb paper in it). No jams so far. Heavy duty plastic construction with some metal.
Cons: Somewhat expensive option for a budget printer. Only holds standard paper sizes (no envelopes, for example). Limited tray linking and priority options compared to higher end printers. No ability for automatic report cover or job separation features like on higher end multiple tray printers.
Overall: A good addition to an excellent printer if you need expanded paper handling options. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Addition at a great price Wednesday, May 07, 2008 Go-Fishing from Washougal, Washington
This Lower Paper Tray allows me to load a full ream of 20# paper in my Brother HL-4070CDW printer. I like that. It's the reason I bought it. ...
The hardest part of the installation was finding another person to help me lift the 60+ pound printer and place it on top of the new Lower Tray. On my Mac OS X (10.4.11) the original installation software from Brother, which came with the printer, already supports the Lower Paper Tray. No re-installation was necessary. ...
Both the HL-4070CDW Printer and the Lower Paper Tray have performed flawlessly. ...
For the savings, and dependable service from Buy.com, it was worth the wait. (This item is often out of stock.) ...
I highly recommend buy.com, this Lower Paper Tray and the Brother HL-4070CDW Color, Duplexing, Networked, Laser Printer. Was this review helpful?
