I am a novice to sewing and purchased this machine without any sewing experience. I found it extremely easy to thread and use, and it comes with all the parts (feet, needles, etc) you'll ever need. Also the stitches are very easy to select and it tells you what is the right foot you need to use. I've already made a couple of projects with it and am extremely satisfied. It's a great value for the price.

This machine sews great. I love the ease of use, but a word of warning. The bobbin case broke after only three months of use. I took it in to be repaired and was told that brother is aware of this problem. After getting the machine back I used it for about two weeks and the same part broke again. The part costs about $60. spend your money on a higher quality machine.
