1 of 5 Unhappy with Brian Friday, December 05, 2008
Mary Jean from Baltimore area

I bought as a birthday gift for my 8 year old grandson and box was damaged and taped. It was difficult to set up and use and the enclosed manual was worthless. It said to hook up your MP3 player but only an ipod works with it. Would not buy it again.

5 of 5 Not as good as expected Friday, December 05, 2008
Joyce from Florida
Love the concept; however, it leaves something to be desired in voice recognition. Could not get it to set up a password. Grandson got frustrated with it when it would not recognize his voice while trying to set it up.

5 of 5 Great for 5 year olds going on 13 Friday, December 05, 2008
Jimmy from Oldsmar FL
It was great and the 5 year old got a real kick out of it. He worked it better than me at 62. It had a few supprizes, like going off by it self at 7 in the morning say it was time to get up and crowing like a roster. It was an excellent gift and we all got a kick out of it.

1 of 5 I'm very dissappointed Friday, December 05, 2008
Frida from Virginia
The product would not recognize voice recognition. My son, who is seven gave up giving password. Very limited vocabulary. Would not stop moving his eyes left and right, which is a waste of battery. Would say some rude comments which I didn't like.

1 of 5 Brian is over-rated, but my 10-year old likes him! Friday, December 05, 2008
Lisa from Dallas
Brian is a bit rude - not what I want my child imitating, but probably average for elementary school playground talk. He's not as "smart" as advertised. We find the encyclopedia topics very limited.

4 of 5 My 8 year old loves it but... Friday, December 05, 2008
Carol from Virginia
The product is fun and my son enjoys it, but the toy does not respond by voice as it should. We tried many times to make "Brian" respond to our voice but could never get it to work. My son still enjoys the toy, but for the price it should work as it says it should.
