Admirably, each of these additional artists is perfectly suited to their allotted songs: Ivan Neville lends his bold voice to the slinky, Meters-like "Got Soul" and the shuffling "Take It Easy," while singer Chaka Khan gives a fiery performance on the energetic "Back Again" and Robert Randolph lays down some blistering pedal-steel lines on a formidable cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Crosstown Traffic." The focus, however, never shifts too far away from the Soulive trio itself, with each song reinforcing the group's remarkable interplay and musical prowess. | Producer: Eric Krasno; Alan Evans; Ira Schick; Eric Krasno; Soulive | Musical Guests | | Robert Randolph | | Corey Glover | | Ivan Neville | | Chaka Khan | | Reggie Watts |

| | Professional Reviews | | Down Beat (p.74) - 3.5 stars out of 5 - "Soulive gets closest to their live sound in the studio when the band takes more risks....The organ trio combines that sense of experimentation with a healthy respect for what sounds good in the studio." |
