Editor's Note
A TV movie from 1973, A BRAND NEW LIFE was directed by Sam O'Steen, whose extensive career in television saw him receive an Emmy nomination, while his editing work saw him involved in films such as BILOXI BLUES and POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE. The plot revolves around a couple who are expecting their first child. The problem is, they can't decide if they're ready to be parents yet, especially with all the life-altering occurrences that revolve around the birth of a child. A moving slice-of-life drama subsequently unfolds.
