here in the cold northeast, my windsheild mount couldn't do it. it kept falling off.

I purchased the Bracketron to hold my Zune. Works very well. The cup holder needs to be straight and not slanted for it to work well otherwise you cannot get it tight enough to hold. Looks nice and it is easy to use. The price is not bad either. Worked great for my situation. Was this review helpful?

This works pretty well - it fits in the cupholder in my console. I did have to use the velcro that came with it to "stablize it" as I have the oversize cupholders. I use it with an HP IPAQ 5910, which has GPS. Downside is that being in your cupholder it is way below your line of sight so if you have to look at the screen you have to take your eyes completely off the road. It seems pretty sturdy.
