Pretty good sound for the price and nice quality speakers. Had it for two weeks now. Some minor issues, the on/off-volume knob is on the side of the speakers so it's difficult to tell if you turned it off or not. The speaker looks good, but tall and easy to knock over, plus the enclosure is minimal and at higher volume the whole box trembles.
But most of all, don't let the photo fool you, that amp (IMO) is huge, it's at least 6-7 inch lenght by 4-5 inch wide and 3-4 inch high. Was this review helpful?

I purchased these speakers for my Slacker radio. Pros: These speakers have excellent sound with crisp highs and tight lows. You can actually crank these up pretty loud. Cons: These are a bit bulky with the huge amp and stiff cords. One thing missing is treble and bass adjustments. I had to rely on the settings of my Slacker Radio to adjust these. All in all a good sounding addition to my portable music device. Was this review helpful?

The speakers are great, compact with good quality audio (great bass and high end response). My only small, very small, complaint is that the output is not what you would expect from an 80W unit. Heavy, solid speakers. Amazing bass for a couple of small speakers, more than I like, but YOU can blast away! Large, heavy 'amp' may be a space problem for some, but long cords should let you hide it.
Pros:
4 speakers, 2 tweeters and, 2 passive radiators and a big old amp for 40 bucks. Wow. Plenty of plug-in alternatives. Best setup I've seen for a ipod/mp3 sound system. Good sound.
Cons:
Some wires are way too STIFF. Speakers can be a bit tippy.
