5 of 5 Exceptional Sunday, May 17, 2009 Jason S from Georgia
Fantastic product. Clear communication and well though out. Best feature is that when you push the microphone stem into the device it is automatically turned off. Also the use of magnets to hold device to the visor is a brilliant idea as it makes it easy to stow the device when vehicle is parked. Well worth the money. Was this review helpful?

I purchased this for my wife to use. She had it hooked up and working in minutes. Now, when she calls from her car, she is legal AND you can't even tell she is on a speaker phone. Great product at a great price. Was this review helpful?

Paired up with my LG easily. Very little if any "echo" when talking. Those on receiving end can hear my voice. Using voice activated feature takes some practice. Was this review helpful?

This is the BEST speakerphone. The speaker and mic on this is great. The only issue I've had is with the delayed reaction with my Wireless GPS, but overall it is easy to use and picks up really well. Best price I found anywhere! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Easy to set up and use. Great for the price Tuesday, January 06, 2009 J. from Morgantown, West Virginia
This bluetooth hands free device is easy to set up and works great. The speaker is loud and can be adjusted to any volume setting you may need. You don't need to take your cell phone out of your pocket/purse. It simply beeps when a call is coming in and you can push the accept button to take the call or the cancel button to reject. There are only 4 buttons on the device and they are big enough so that you do not have to take your eyes off of the road to find them. When you place a call, it automatically transfers the call to the speaker. If your phone supports voice dialing, you just need to press the green/accept button and say the name of the contact. Very useful feature! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Very Good Product Wednesday, December 24, 2008 Norm from Gainesville, VA
Bought it as a gift for my daughter. We set it up in less than 30 minutes (with some help from my 12 year old grand daughter). It works very well and my daughter is enjoying it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 works exactly as expected Thursday, December 18, 2008 A Customer from Boston, MA
This one lives up to the hype. If you want a bluetooth speakerphone and understand the limitations of how they work, you won't be disappointed with the sound quality or the battery life on this one. I use it daily on my 80 minute roundtrip commute. I've yet to recharge the battery in 2 weeks of usage. It paired without problems, and it definitely has great sound. Was this review helpful?
0 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 4 of 5 Works well for the most part Tuesday, December 16, 2008 A Customer from Woodbridge VA
I'll get the bad out of the way first. Often when someone calls me I can not hear them. They can hear me fine and I always double check to make sure it's running through the bluetooth. I end up having to call the person back. Also, if I push the button on my phone to answer instead of the green button on the speaker, the call is switched to my handset. I don't like that because pushing the button on the speaker is not always convenient. The magnetic part is pretty good, very strong, but it will slide when pushing buttons, especially the boom or the volume button. Also the configuration of the microphone is odd. If placed in one position it's facing the ceiling of the car, if in the other, facing away from you. I find if the boom is not near my mouth people can't hear me very well at all.
The good stuff, it connects quickly. The battery lasts forever it seems, I don't use it often so I've literally gone a month without charging it. It shares the same charger (USB) type that my phone does, so I can charge in my car, which is great. For the money paid, do I think it's worth it? Not really. But it could be worse. I think in some ways its a hazard when driving because of having to put the visor down 1/2 way when the boom is extended some people can hear me.
All in all, great product 90% of the time, it's only when it slides off the magnetic piece when answering, hanging up or adjusting boom or volume, or when it doesn't complete the call that it really bugs me, but those things may not bother others. Good Luck Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Simple, easy to use!!!!! Tuesday, October 21, 2008 David from Clinton, MS
My wife drives a lot due to her job and has to be on the phone often. I needed a product that was easy to use and reliable. This device works exactly the way it is supposed to. The clarity is so good that I cannot tell when my wife is using it versus using the headset. This is a great product at a great price, you will enjoy the Blue Ant. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Outstanding product...best bluetooth device Friday, September 19, 2008 Loren from Sugar Land, TX
This is an amazing product...the technology is incredible. The built-in speaker allows for easy listening. The mic picks up the human voice but not much else. With the radio volume quite loud, the technology can still block it out for the most part. Battery life is amazing as well. Recharge it maybe once a month so far, as I turn it off when not in use. The best hands-free bluetooth device. I bought mine and then bought another for my wife within 3 weeks. It's that good! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Big and nice Wednesday, September 17, 2008 A Customer from Cupertino, CA
This speaker phone is bigger than what I have imagined, but it still looks nice and pretty, and fit my visor. Very easy to install, pair with multiple cellphones and use. I like the USB plug because now I can keep only one USB recharger to recharge my bluetooth speaker phone, mp3 player and GPS device. No additional recharger needed, which free the space glove compartment of my car. I've also tried to use voice command through this speakerphone, it's extremely convenient. The sound quality and ease to use have me give this product a 5 overall satisfaction. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Perfect Solution. Saturday, September 13, 2008 silverconnection from New York, New York
I literally spent hundreds on bluetooth headsets and always had problems with all of them between dropping calls, phone functionality issues, etc. This truly is a remarkable product and have one in both my cars. It so easy that even my wife knows how to use it....this alone should speak volumes for those technologically challenged. Go out and buy this product..you will not be disappointed. 5 of 5 BlueAnt Supertooth Performs Better Than Expected Tuesday, September 09, 2008 Todd from Petaluma, Ca
I bought the unit about 3 weeks ago. I thought about going with a named brand speaker system like Motorola which was over $100 and decided to look at other brands. I started reading the reviews on the BlueAnt and it had a lot of positive feedback. The price was right too. When I finally received the device and used it for the first time I was very impressed. The speaker sounded very clear and people could hear me clearly on the other end. The buttons to make a call and end a call are very strait forward and linking the device to my Blackberry Pearl was a snap. I would recommend this device to anyone who wants a low cost easy to use bluetooth speaker system. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Overall a great value for the money Tuesday, September 09, 2008 Jonathan Singer from Philadelphia, PA
I purchased this for my wife so she doesn't have to worry about finding her earpiece bluetooth headset. She's used it a half-dozen times and has really liked it 5 out of the 6 times. Pros: The sound quality (both on her end and the receiver end) is always excellent, even with the window open. The bluetooth was easy to set up. Another great feature is that it connects with magnets to the visor so it can be stored in the glove compartment for safe-keeping.
Cons: One time it didn't work. She couldn't figure out why. It was charged, she did the same thing she did the previous three times, but it wasn't connecting. The next time she connected it worked. So, it might be an intermittent problem, or it could be a fluke. We haven't had it long enough to decide. I highly recommend it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Seems Great So Far! Monday, September 08, 2008 Robert from Northridge, CA
Other than I keep forgetting to turn it off when I get out of my car, it seems like a great product.

5 of 5 Best of all I bought Wednesday, September 03, 2008 A Customer from Cumming Georgia
I bought three handsfree bluetooth devices for my car. This is the only one that is loud enough to hear a conversation at highway speeds. It is also the easiest to use. I bought one for my wife before I bought this one for myself. I tried two other ones that had caller ID displays and was very dissapointed in their operation. First, none of them were easy to turn on and once on it was tough to answer a call. The push buttons were had to find in the dark and the volume was very weak. Blueant makes the easiest to use and it is far superior to others in audio output and quality. My wife loves hers, I should have just bought one like I bought for her, but I experimented and lost some money trying. Blueant in my opinion is the easiest to use, just push the microphone to turn on - green button to answer a call - red button to end a call and thats it. Super simple and thats the way I like it. 4 of 5 Good Investment Sunday, August 31, 2008 Rob from Irvine, CA
Due to the new CA law, this was a great purchase. The battery power is excellent. Wish the no/off wasn't extending the mic. Two weeks after I purchased it, my parents got one. Must be a good sell, because they got a newer model and the mic doesn't extend out. They must have reviewed the complaints. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Blue Ant, love it! Tuesday, August 19, 2008 jfasc from Depew, NY
Whenever I look at someone in another car with that dumb ass ear piece around their head I want to stop them and show them a real hands free device. I love this unit, it works great and sound is awesome. The battery lasts forever (I has never gone dead on me yet, had it for about nine months now.)I just charge it every few weeks. Easy to hook up and very easy to use. One caveat, if you leave it on and leave you vehicle you have to disable your external mic. But thats it. Fully recommend this blue tooth. Also this price is fantastic. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent Performance! Monday, August 18, 2008 Steve from Chula Vista, California
This thing works great. Most of the time I hear the caller very well. I say "MOST" because one of us probably goes into a fringe reception area and the signal gets weak. Other than that, the person on the other end, and I, hear one another loud and clear.....and I'm talkin about both of us in our separate cars and speaking thru our bluetooths. The only thing about this product I don't care for much is the spring loaded mic which acts as the on/off switch. But, because it has a ton of stand-by time, it keeps a charge forever so I just leave it out (on) all the time. Highly recommend this device Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Very Satisfied Thursday, August 07, 2008 A Customer from Redondo Beach, CA
I own the the Blueant z9 headset and have been very happy with that product. However, I wanted a bluetooth speakerphone for each of my cars. I first bought a noname brand from costco that worked well when connectected but kept on disconnecting while on a call so returned that brand.
I then realized it ws time to go with the brand I know would work. And I must say even crusing at 70+ mph in a truck and or sports car with windows up it has performed very well. The connecting party has never commented on poor sound quality. And the speaker phone audio quality is clear and loud enough to overcome road or other noises.
My only grip is I forget to push the mic in the unit to turn it off when I get to my destination and that can drain the battery of the unit. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great handsfree solution! Tuesday, July 22, 2008 A Customer from Vancouver, Washington
I cannot wear those hang-on-your-ear headsets. For one thing they are horribly uncomfortable and frankly, they look ridiculous.
The BlueAnt Bluetooth Speakerphone is the perfect solution for in-the-vehicle, handsfree operation of your cell phone. It has great background noise suppression and many times the people I call don't even know I am in my vehicle.
Setup is brainless and I had it working in less than a minute.
A definite thumbs up! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good product, Recommended Friday, July 18, 2008 A Customer from Los Angeles, CA
I have used this item for about a month so far and it works really great. Never loses a phone call and battery life is kind of long so that you would only have to charge it once in two weeks unless you don't talk on the phone with this machine everyday for few hours. Very rarely sometimes this machine makes noisies, but quite not sure if it is from others or my machine. However, I don't regret buying this bluetooth even though the price was not so cheap. I truly recommend this item. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great Product! Tuesday, July 15, 2008 Marvin from San Diego, CA
Pros: Best product for blue tooth device specially here in California. Sync to any phone - well so far a couple of phones. The battery standby is unbelievable, speaker is OK, noise cancellation is great when windows are half way down.
Suggested Improvement: Rotating Mic. Sometimes I have to pull down my visor for about 3 or 4 degrees in order for them to hear me clearer. Sturdier placement, one of the magnets cracked (don't know how?) Maybe a slip on case to the visor clip - seems to move when you turn off the device (pushing the mic button to off position)
Overall I would recommend it if you don't like wearing an ear piece all the time!

4 of 5 It basically works Like I had Hoped Thursday, July 10, 2008 Goggles McDougal from Dupont, WA.
This unit works fine overall as advertised. I was worried about some folks' reviews, but this unit has met my expectations. The speaker can be adjusted loud if needed, and those that I talk to via the unit can hear me well and cleary(unlike the three earbud bluetooth devices I have owned). The unit holds a charge for a very long time (it's been a week and I haven't had to charge it yet). One strange thing, I do notice that when I initially make a call, the ringer volume does this peculiar thing where the speaker volume starts lower and increases to the regular volume by the time the phone rings a couple of times. Strange. One thing that I don't like about the unit is that the magnet/visor clip connection is not strong enough. I have already accidently brushed against the unit and it has disconnected from the clip and fallen to the floor board (hope the unit doesn't fly fall out the car window if that happens again). They should make the visor clip with a solid connection to the unit. Also, I've noticed that the unit won't connect to my phone when I make a call if the unit has been on for several hours continuously. I have to turn the unit off and turn it back on to reset or something. Kinda funky. But overall, it is a good unit and I have already purchased another one for my sig other. Worth the money and I recommend it. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Works better than anything but a built-in Wednesday, July 09, 2008 Andrew from Centreville, VA
I have owned two hands free units and multiple Bluetooth headsets, but in the car there is nothing that works better than this unit. The sound clarity is surprisingly good and most people hear me well. Only two small complaints - 1) I must push the volume up button when I make a call when it starts to get the volume I need and 2) there seems to be a slight delay as to when the receiver of my call can hear me well - about 5 seconds or so. I'm not sure why - may be my phone (LG CU500) and not this device, but a slight nuisance. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Nice product Wednesday, July 09, 2008 A Customer from Thousand Oaks Ca.
I needed a bluetooth product that would allow me to talk in the car handsfree. I did not want a wear it in your ear bluetooth. I am just not on the phone that much. This product seems to solve the problem. Attach it ot my car visor, turn it on and connect it to my phone, and no porblems. I will agree with one other reviewer that the on/off mechanism which pops out the microphone is not well made and will soon not shut off the unit. But other then that the unit works very well. 5 of 5 Great hands free device Wednesday, July 09, 2008 A Customer from Gardena, CA
This is the perfect hands free device for the technically challenged! I can barely use my cellphone features, yet I was able to link this bluetooth to my cellphone on the first try following the easy instructions and it worked perfectly from the start. People that I call report that my calls are crisp and clear, better than when I call direct from my phone because this does an excellent job of filtering out backgroud noise. I highly recommended this to anyone wanting or needing hands free. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 i have purchased 20 of these Saturday, July 05, 2008 A Customer from Palm Desert, CA
I have purchased twenty of these units for our work trucks, they are very easy to use and work very good, all of our techs love them. Many have purchased them for there personal trucks.
The only complaint I have so far is out of the twenty, three have went bad, one was DOA, the other two failed within two weeks. I would reccomend these to anyone that asks. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 The Blue Ant is the best hands free device availab Tuesday, July 01, 2008 Lisa from San Jose, CA
First of all, this is a MUST for those with small ears! I have been unable to find a Blue Tooth device that will stay on my extra small ear. The sound quality is excellent. Everyone I've talked to while using this has said that I sound clear, and I have no trouble hearing them. There is also a wide range on the volume control. It holds a charge forever, and it's incredibly easy to use. I also like how you just have to push in the microphone to end a call. It was worth every penny. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Alternative To Those Ugly Ear Pieces! Sunday, June 29, 2008 like2vote from Murrieta, Ca
I bought this item because I DETEST those ugly, stupid looking ear pieces people parade around like their "special" with! It works great! Sound is clear. Volume controls are easy to use. It sync'd up to my Bluetooth phone in seconds. I think one of the best features is the battery life. I am STILL on my first charge! It's stand-by time is incredible. The only negative is that when someone calls and you choose to connect, there is a small delay before the other person can hear you. Other than that, this is a FANTASTIC alternative to the "trekie" looking crap people wear on their ears! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product! Wednesday, May 21, 2008 A Customer from Orlando, FL
This is my second unit, got this one for my mom, she loves it. I also have the more expensive motorola unit that has the fm transmitter, and that's cool, but it's difficult to operate. This is a more simple unit than the motorola, and that's why I bought a second blueAnt rather than a second motorola. Was this review helpful?

3 of 5 other party has an echo Friday, May 16, 2008 A Customer from Bellevue, WA
I was quite excited to receive this product, especially since I am a remote worker that has been issued a mobile phone as my company phone. So the idea of a portable speaker pleased me a lot, but after setting it up (very easy) and starting to call 2 business contacts and then my parents, each and every one of them said that they could hear an echo of their own voice when they spoke.
According to them, my voice was clear and without problems. I read other reviews which said that you need to turn down the volume to a level where you can hear still the other party but they can't hear the echo. I was unable to find that spot, so I have returned it. Back to looking... Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works Great Monday, May 05, 2008 Jim from Bellevue, WA
I've tried about a dozen wired & wireless headsets for my cellphone without finding one that is easy to use, fits well, & has good sound quality. I tried this style as an alternative & was thrilled to find that it beats the usual headset/earpiece in all respects. It has excellent design & ease of use, battery life, and incoming call quality. People on the receiving end tell me that it sounds better than other headsets I've used & the quality is similar to that of a call using my cellphone directly. Of course it does not have the flexibility of a headset & is intended primarily for use in the car. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best Hands Free I Have Used So Far Monday, May 05, 2008 A Customer from Newport Beach, CA
This is my third BlueTooth handsfree that I have had and this by far works the best. The Motorola was OK, but the volume was too low and the other party could hear a lot of noise. The Jabra had good calling sound to receiver, but the volume in the car was too low.
The Blue Ant had great volume in the car. Receivers say the voice is a little muffled, but that is due to noise cancelling system and they can still hear fine. The magnetic clip for the visor works great, and when you flip the visor down, just clip it on the back side of the clip, as the clip is the same both sides. Holds a charge for a long time! I charge it only once every couple of days. Bought two units...wife uses hers and loves it. Best Unit So Far! Was this review helpful? Click here to see all 78 reviews
