5 of 5 Great Product Tuesday, March 10, 2009 Bao from San Diego, C.A.
This is a great alternative to the chatterbox. It has the same features and is also 50% less expensive then the chatterbox brand. It works are, pairing is awsome is easy. The only thing is, the speaker could be a little bit louder. If you are wearing a helmet with alot of space for air to get in, then you wouldn't be able to hear anything if you are going over 45mph. Even when im riding at 55-60mph, I can't even hear that much with the speakers at max. Overall, if you are looking for a good bluetooth product for your motorcycle helmet, this is a great choice. 5 of 5 BlueAnt Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset and Intercom Monday, October 06, 2008 Rosa from Saint Croix, IN
My husband and I love the headsets. It is great to be able to talk to one another when we are out riding. In continuous intercom mode our batteries last 7 to 8 hours. If we are on a trip and want them to last all day we just charge them while we are stopped for lunch. The sound is very clear without wind or background noise. Wind noise does not seem to be a problem in intercom mode at any speed. It works well to use with your cell phone also, but for safety I wouldn't recomend talking on the phone while riding solo. If I am solo riding, I just answer and say hey I am out riding I will call you back when I stop. It is very convenient to be able to return those calls when you stop without having to remove your helmet. When I am riding as the passenger with my husband I can talk on the phone as long as I want to someone. Wind noise does not seem to be a problem with the phone unless you are traveling on the interstate with speeds of 70-75 mph and them it is just with the wind noise in your helmet it is hard to hear the person calling (or phone volume). 5 of 5 Very pleased Tuesday, June 03, 2008 Jim from Quakertown, PA
I was apprehensive at first since the two helmets I was putting the headsets in were a bit different, although both full face. It worked in my wife's right away since there was a cutout in her helmet for the headset. I had to move the headset in mine twice (which was very easy) before the ear piece was actually near my ear and I could hear properly. It was fantastic being able to ride and communicate at the same time. The sound, volume, etc was great. No wind noise even with the shield up. I know I can move the headsets easily to a 3/4 helmet also. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Motorcycle Communications Monday, March 31, 2008 Paul from Mims, Florida
We've only had a few days of use together with our pair of BlueAnt Interphone headsets, but so far ~ VERY IMPRESSIVE! The installation and configuration was a bit above the average handyman, and franky the manual was less than wonderful, but the units themselves MORE than make up for the challenge.
Easy to use, very good communications, and what a pleasure it is to be able to talk safely and clearly while riding! Even at freeway speed, the speech is clear and understandable, but works better on a full-face helmet than on the police style I use.
Once you've got the setup going right, their use is easy and logical. I've set up to use with my bluetooth phone also, and it works just great. Glad someone finally came out with one of these, and I'd recommend it highly to anyone who wants a high-quality means to communicate between front seat and back. Ride safe! Was this review helpful?
