5 of 5 What an Oven!!! Thursday, March 26, 2009 Gary Robinson from Oklahoma City
This oven is great. It is easy to use, and easy to adjust settings to cook with ease. It was a little hard to understand the oven settings at first, but once we got started using it...BAM cookies everynight and no leftovers! Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Decent Unit Saturday, March 14, 2009 DvB from Grapevine, TX
Nice unit to use and works as advertised. My only complaint is that it is a little small for cooking pizzas. It should also have a back light in the control area so it would be easier to see the functions and read the LCD. Buy.com shipped quickly and had an excellent price. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Verdict still out Wednesday, March 11, 2009 CT from Boise, ID
Received product 2-weeks ago. During that time it worked great and I was very impressed with the ease of use and the quick heat process. Then it stopped working and the LCD chip was on the fritz. Would stop baking during cycle. Unplugged machine to reset, then the LCD flashes gibberish and now I cannot get the panel buttons to stop flashing on. Very disappointed that is was already not working. Called manufacturer and was very impressed with their response. They are replacing unit without hassel. Hopefully the next unit will allow me to rate it at a 5 for performance, but for now only a 3. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Technology needs some improvement Sunday, March 08, 2009 Dave from Springfield, Illinois
I've had this thing for 3 months. I use it to toast and heat single portion baked goods. The LCD is not backlit so you need direct light on the appliance. And the conversion is a major pain!
I butter my bread before toasting and 7 (the maximum toasting setting) is not long enough, so I have to run it again at 2. Otherwise, it toasts well.
Heating frozen chicken nuggets seems to burn the edges before they are done heating, but covering the nuggets with foil works well. In fact, I have to put foil over just about everything that I don't want crispy (or burnt) on top.
The instructions say not to put tinfoil in the pan, but I do anyway to aid in cleanup.
This is a promising technology that needs some tweaking by the manufacturer.
As usual, I have nothing but praise for Buy.com! Was this review helpful?

3 of 5 Not so fast as it was rated Monday, January 26, 2009 A Customer from Flushing, NY
It heat up the surface fast but the center of the food is still cold. It takes longer time to warm up than the microwave oven. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 So Far So Good Wednesday, January 14, 2009 W Smith from LA, CA
This is my second infrared oven. My other IR oven is larger and I use that for larger items. I bought this as a quick countertop unit. This is my first B&D. I've had this for a few weeks and so far it works perfectly. The automatic timing features are a little off, so that takes a little experimentation, but I believe infrared cooking is superior to a conventional oven and the amount of time is less by roughly 50% on most items. Also, The unit has a frozen pizza setting, but it doesn't automatically include a browning/toast feature, you have to IR the pizza and then add the time separately to toast the top. 5 of 5 Great toaster oven Tuesday, January 13, 2009 Helen from Oscoda, Mi.
This oven toasts and cooks great. It is faster than regular oven and works better than microwave on some foods. Sweet or regular potatoes in 35 min. Toasts great. Larger capacity than most toaster ovens. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome! Sunday, January 11, 2009 Stonemannn from Massachusetts
It does take a little getting used to, as far as cooking time goes, but what a great product! Saves me time making toast, chicken nuggets, etc., without heating up the oven. I use it every day! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Timesaver! Friday, January 09, 2009 A Customer from Milton, WA
Have had this small oven for over a week now and have so far made baked potatoes, frozen pizza, fresh salmon and frozen chicken tenders. I was particularly amazed at how well the salmon came out using the grill rack, it cooked perfectly. Everything else came out great too, and this thing really saves a lot of time by not needing to preheat. My full size Kitchenaid range takes over 10 minutes to preheat to 375, many of the things i cooked in this toaster oven were completely cooked in just a few more minutes than it would have taken my range just to preheat. Since i have only had this item a short time, i cannot speak for durability, but it does feel a little tinny and not really solidly built, ie. the stainless metal casing is very thin. Overall it is a great purchase and has surpassed my expectations as to how fast and easy it cooks and the results are fantastic. Would recommend. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY !! Tuesday, January 06, 2009 KEVIN HASSELLOF from MUNSTER, IN.
IF I HAVE ONE MINOR ISSUE, IT IS NOT ABOUT THE PRODUCT. IT WORKS GREAT. I JUST WISHED THEY PROVIDED A WRITTEN LIST OF VARIOUS FOODS AND HOW LONG TO COOK THEM. FOR EXAMPLE, VARIOUS THICKNESS STEAKS, CHOPS, AND HOW LONG PER POUND FOR ROASTS. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Throw away your old toaster oven and bread toaster Monday, January 05, 2009 Ed from Long Beach, CA
Seriously, Throw away your old toaster oven, and your toaster. I have been using my for 2 weeks now, and can honestly say it was one of my better buys in life.
Simple reheats. makes you pizza hot and bubblely without drying it out. Honey Baked ham, the best heated up in here, hot and juicy.
Toast, perfectly browned both sides, you can see it toasting so you can take it out when it's the right color for you, and you can do 4 pieces at once. It leaves in inside of the bread soft, and not dried out.
Biscuits, rolls, cookies, the best ever, but the best of all puffed pastries come out flakey, browned perfectly and very moist and hot on the inside.
Forget those negative reviews, "its just like a regular toaster oven" it's not, you will love this thing! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Quality Product Monday, January 05, 2009 DRL from Charlotte, NC
The Infrawave Oven is a well made, quality oven. It bakes/toasts/broils quickly. All parts appear to be quite solid, made to last. Be sure to watch the DVD that comes with it to learn all its features.
Other small ovens I've owned seem flimsy by comparison, never able to heat up adequately to a set temperature, etc. This one does and even converts basic recipes to the faster Infrawave format. No warm up required.
The only minor complaint I have is that the control buttons could be a bit larger/easier to read, but that doesn't affect how it works. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent Product - Highly Recommend This One Monday, January 05, 2009 A Customer from Kersey, PA
I bought this infrawave oven as a Christmas Present for a family member and I have been told this is the best present they have received in years. I am considering buying one for myself to replace my relatively new toaster oven. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 so so oven Saturday, January 03, 2009 charles from harvey,il

5 of 5 Love this item Thursday, January 01, 2009 A Customer from Lone Grove OK
This is a great item. Reheats , bakes , cooks and thaws fast. Nothing like it to reheat leftovers. Makes everything crispy like just made. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best oven that I,ve been used Wednesday, December 31, 2008 Val from Naperville, IL
This is the best oven that I have been used.
Only one Thing - I spend 30 min to remove the Sticker from the glass door. If somebody have the same problem could use WD-40. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Neat item, but...careful Monday, December 15, 2008 A Customer from Paradise, PA
Purchased item. Toast button would not work. Returned. Next item had bent control panel - returned. New item door does not fit squarely - works well, but I am not at all happy with the "fit and finish" of the product. I hope the cosmetic issues are not a sign of the quality of the product. 4 of 5 Infrawave cooking Saturday, December 13, 2008 Helene from NH
I must say, this is the best thing that happened to cooking. I fix meals in 1/2 the time from eggs to roast beef. Its the easiest thing to use, except for the display screen. It really should be lit up for easy reading.
The frozen pizza and chicken nuggets come out perfect every single time. Reheating is even and keeps the moisture in the food. Couldn't live without it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 excellent product Thursday, December 11, 2008 mike.m from newyork

5 of 5 Bought Two Infrawave Thursday, December 11, 2008 Tony from Florida and Michigan
So easy to use as long as you have good eye sight or memorize the board. I keep a flash light and magnifying glass nearby. We are snowbirds and have one up north. Great product. I love the view board and how it makes cooking care free. Walk away and not worry about burning anything. The grandkids like it because its like watching a fireplace. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Steak, Too? Wednesday, December 10, 2008 Justin from Olyphant, PA
Very impressed with this myriad function wonder. The magic of infrared heat is nothing short of mystical. This sucker broiled a 1.6 pound London broil steak in sixteen minutes. Somehow it fairly evenly cooks the meat as well. For medium rare you can put it in for 13-14 minutes if that is your preference. Toast is great, reheating, it really covers all the bases well, and is such a value to operate versus firing up the oven from an energy usage standpoint. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great little toaster oven Tuesday, December 09, 2008 A Customer from Topeka, KS
This has met and exceeded our expectations. It cooks very quickly and evenly, doesn't take too much space yet has ample room inside and has a lot of easy features. I have recommended it to my friends. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent product. Friday, November 28, 2008 Chick from Cynthiana, KY
We've been using this product for about a week and so far it has performed well. We've used it to cook all sorts of foods from toast to steaks to biscuits and everything has turned out excellent. Meats are not dried out and tough!! Trying to figure out the cooking times can be a bit of a challenge, but I'm sure with a little practice we'll get the hang of it. Excellent product, excellent price!!! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent toaster oven Friday, November 21, 2008 Nat from Boston, MA
I got this toaster oven today and I must say it was a very good value for the money. Buy.com had it for around half of its list price and so far it has performed very well. The timing is based upon the nature of the food item being cooked. This can be a little difficult since it doesn't list all possible food items however you can always pop it back in the oven for additional cooking if need be. I haven't tried baking in it but you could fit a typical 9 in round cake pan it there. However you'd have to cook one pan at a time which is not how one normaly bakes. If you want to do any baking in quantity you'd need a regular oven otherwise it would take forever. If on the other hand you wanted to make just a few cookies from a package of refrigerated cookie dough, this would do the trick. Was this review helpful?
