The Black Adder series is one of the funniest I've ever seen. Apart from Series 1, generally thought to be the "slow start," it is hilarious in its acute historical criticism and attention to chatacter-types. Rowan Atkinson is dominanting as Black Adder, an hilarious, sarcastic, kniving misanthrope who spurns the world. For those who have only seen Mr. Bean, you have no idea who Atkinson really is; this is his mileau. Highly recommend!
