5 of 5 works great Tuesday, June 03, 2008 Alex B. from Columbus, OH
I was nervous when I bought this because I couldn't find any unbiased reviews, but the price was great so I took a chance - and I'm glad I did! Quiet operation, reliable power, and ample connections. This is everything I'd hoped it'd be! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great Sunday, May 11, 2008 A Customer from long beach
it is great, works well, has more than enough power for my q6600 nforce 780i with 2 superclocked 8800 gt, the only thing that sucks is that it has so many power lines haha Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 WOW this is real POWER Tuesday, April 29, 2008 A Customer from NC
This is the SUPERMAN, it's about a inch longer than the stock 300 watt, it weighs about 8lbs, you notice ya have a beast when you pull it out of the box.. But fits great in my ATX midtower, firing two 8800s an three SATAs an 8 fans with ease.. This will be your last PSU for your gamer!!nothing comes close for the price without the rebate..BFG put the knock out punch on anything close to it.. An Buy.com doing it again.. 5 of 5 Great Thursday, March 27, 2008 A Customer from Tucson AZ
Well I have always loved BFG and the products that they provide but buy.com has the wrong info on this product. This model does not have the 4 PCIe plugs that is the ES edition that BFG makes. I have talked to buy.com to make a change to the site because I bought this power supply solely on the fact it did in fact have 4 PCIe plug and it did not. So great power supply!!! does NOT have 4 PCIe plugs. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice PSU!!! Sunday, March 09, 2008 Chris H. from Auburn Hills, MI
First off, Buy.com is great to buy from. They are usually fast to ship and have competitive prices. The BFG 800w with the $30 rebate to get it down to $80 is amazing for this PSU. I found only positive professional reviews around the web and it's 80-85% efficient. The four +12v rails are puting out beautifully with NO fluctuation. Even without the rebate, this is the best PSU I could find for $110 bucks, much less under $150. And who can beat BFGs lifetime warranty on a PSU, oh wait that's right, no one (at least that I've found). My only beef with this is that for super-mid-towers with PSUs in the bottom, you may need an extension to get to the 4-pin on an ATX board. Just make sure you get an extension of 16AWG and you're all set. Other than that, all I can say for this PSU and Buy.com is WOW! You both never fail to shine through the competition more often than not. Keep it up, and I'll gladly keep shopping :-) Was this review helpful?
