Plot Summary

Two former members of the U.S. national karate team join forces to avenge the death of their friend, who was brutally slain in competition at an underground Las Vegas fighting club. An initial confrontation between the revenge-minded pair and the murderer leaves the evildoer with a horrible facial scar, and he vows to bury the two interlopers. After he makes a few attempts to gun the duo down, they finally settle the score in a bloody grudge match at the club.

Professional Reviews
Washington Post 8 of 10
The best martial arts movies are well-oiled stupid fun. Best of the Best 2 fits the bill, not only because it's the sequel to a decent original but because it further lives up to its name by borrowing bits and pieces from other genre films. Among the purloined parts: the Coliseum, an underground fight palace where the only rule is "no referees, no rules"; a widowed karate champ, now retired into teaching and consumed with raising a son who desperately wants to be a chop off the old block; a killer hulk with an unfortunately Schwarzeneggerish accent, and slimy ringmaster Wayne Newton, apparently working hard to pay off his debts. - Richard Harrington
