5 of 5 pefect for dell optiplex gx520 small form factor Tuesday, May 27, 2008
    dhabtem1 from Baltimore, MD

Had to buy this for my Dell Optiplex GX520 small form factor PC. Needed a video card that supported dual monitors (dual dvi), was low profile (half bracket) in size, and could work off of the miniscule 225 W power supply that the PC came with. Not easy to find. Price: Best price around, better than newegg and amazon by about $15 plus shipping. Gotta love free shipping through buy.com Setup/performance: worked like a charm. Came with drivers to install, but quickly discovered that this wasn't necessary. Drawbacks: 1. Drivers sent for Windows computers only (sorry to my fellow Linux users). 2. You can run dual monitors (vga) up to insanely high resolutions, but if you want to run dual monitors (dvi) you can only get up to 1024 X 768 with this video card. I think it's no big deal...I like VGA (analog), but DVI (digital) seems to be very important to some people.
