4 of 5 Highly recommended Monday, December 31, 2007 Mike from Northern NJ
I think the menu tree is a little much, not the most intuitive. I haven't experienced the "black-out" issue that some people have. It's a very bright monitor even with the brightness set at 10 (50 is default). I have the Sept. build w/ 1:1 scaling & aspect ratio control. No dead or stuck pixels have been noticed so far (I looked for them w/ LCD test). No backlight bleed. Build quality is very good. No problem playing games (Quake 4 had no issues or lag). Colors are really nice w/ good contrast. Text is clear. It has a non-glossy screen. I thought this was the best value at the time and I certainly wasn't going to pay $500 for a TN panel when I could have this for a little more. I was very satisfied w/ Buy.com, it actually arrived earlier than it was scheduled to. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 What a GREAT monitor!!! Thursday, December 27, 2007 John Anderson from Ann Arbor, MI
I am a serious photographer and graphic designer upgrading from a 19" CRT monitor, so I was concerned about accurate color reproduction. This monitor does a superb job. Besides, the sheer amount of screen space it makes available is just tremendous. It didn't take long to begin wondering how I ever got along with something as small as a 19" monitor! Highly recommended.
If you want the best color rendition, I also recommend the Pantone Huey, which I got along with this monitor. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A good monitor Monday, December 24, 2007 zerony from Jackson, MS
If you are looking for an affordable good LCD, here it is.
I got a sept new version. There is no dead pixel. The pictures is vivid and dynamic.
Cons: I use Huey Pro to calibrate the LCD, there is a little problem. The contrast is unsatisfying.
BTW, The box comes with HDMI cable, do not buy extra one. The Buy shipping is fast, recommended. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 extremely sharp and bright! Tuesday, December 18, 2007 Joseph from New york,NY
I bought this monitor after reading many good reviews. For all you graphic guys, this monitor has a P-MVA panel. P-MVA panels have better color reproduction and viewing angles than TN panels. However, I still feel that the veiwing angles of S-IPS panels are far superior. (apple 23" monitors) I am running an nvidia G force 8600 GT. The DVI-d connection allows me to use nvidias control panel to adjust color and other settings without using monitors bottons which are cumbersome to use.
Pros: Sharp bright pictures with good contrast -
HDMI input with 1:1 pixel mapping option (for HDTV) -
Picture in picture, All kinds of input signals supported -
Matt screen with no reflections.
Cons: Suffers from color shifting which is inherent in
P-MVA panels. (Looking from center to either side you
will see colors get lighter as it gets closer to the
Corners. You will not see it if you sit far enough! Most
people will not even notice it.
Other thoughts : If you are a PC user and are picky about
monitors, get an imac and run windows on it.
The picture quality is just unbeleivable due to
their S-IPS panels.

5 of 5 A wonderful LCD Friday, December 14, 2007 zerony from Jackson, MS
First, I got Sept version, the price is a bit of lower than other stores.
Second, the LCD is wonderful, Vibrant colors and crisp picture.
BTW, it comes with HDMI cable, do not buy extra one. Be aware of dead pixels, even mine is without dead pixels. I wish Buy.com explicitly states its dead pixels policy.
Fast free shipping from Buy.com. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Beautiful Tuesday, November 20, 2007 Mark from Akron, PA
This is the first flat panel screen I've owned and I spent some time looking over my choices. Ultimately, it came down to this one or the Dell (based on a recommendation from TFTCentral.) The monitor is easy to set up and very bright. My old CRT was dying and losing its focus. This monitor is a welcome relief. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Crisp, clear image Sunday, August 12, 2007 A Customer from Seattle, WA

5 of 5 Fantastic Display! Wednesday, July 25, 2007 A Customer from San Francisco, CA
I received my display, set it up and was stunned at how amazing it looks. display is clean and crisp, text is clear and images are vivid. i did not find one dead pixel at all. the slick black frame adds to the beauty of the display. the base is on the heavy side but that makes it more stable on my desk. i'm running the optimal resolution via the DVI connection and it's flawless. currently, i'm playing WoW and if i sit in just the right way, it's like playing in IMAX format. yeah baby!!
i will be testing out the HDMI input at 1080p boast when my ps3 arrives. we'll see how that goes. Was this review helpful?
