    5 of 5 Does the job at a reasonable price Sunday, March 30, 2008

    I did a lot of research on radar detectors when my old PNI Sensoro radar detector stopped working. Bels were consistently rated highly and when comparing the models, I felt I did not need the bells and whistles of the much more expensive ones. The 940 exceeded my expectations - it has a very solid feel to it, mounts well, and so far it has worked like a charm. While all detectors probably throw off a lot of false signals, this one seems to minimize them - at least compared to my old Sensoro. I would recommend this over all of the others in this price range - and even over many costing quite a bit more.
