Slick little device! I use it when I travel. One slight problem for me is that the cable is too short - my USB ports are located at the rear of my laptop and I would rather prefer being able to hook up peripherals on either the side of the unit. However, I can't really complain for this slight inconvenience considering I paid about half of what it would have cost me had I bought it from the likes of BB or CC. Was this review helpful?

Hardest part is opening the plastic shell it arrives in. Once you get it out of the package, you plug it in and it works. There is a little red light to let you know when it is connected.

I immediately used the Belkin usb hub upon receiving it from mail and after 5 minutes being plugged into my laptop, the hub smells like burning. I would never consider buying this product again.

This is a great little hub and works exactly as described. Be aware though, that it does not come with a power supply and it does not even have a jack for an optional power supply for those that want to connect peripherals that require some extra juice. Was this review helpful?

Works totally as advertised, providing a high speed upgrade in the number of USB ports.
But, there is only one minor draw back which is why I rated ease of use and overall satisfaction a 4. My old USB 1.0 hub came with 3 ft cable. Which is very handy if you have the USB port in the back or in the middle or lower portion of the front pannel of the PC. Unfortunately, this is not the case with this model.
