The design of this bag is woncderful. Love the single shoulder strap which is amply padded. It seems very durable too. Lots of compartments, and surprisingly roomy for being so slim and light. I have been able to stow a frozen meal and a can of soda for lunch as well as my laptop and other supplies. I would highly recommend this product. Best laptop bag I have owned yet. Everything is compactly excellent. Very well designed product - no wasted space. Designed for the computer guy on the go with minimal space requirements for work.
I like the sling design too. You can hang it on one shoulder or strap it over you body - nice double way of lugging when you are traveling.
The pull strap is also not obtrusive. It is there for you to use especially getting off the car and you just want to lift it out but not sticking out visually like others.
Do not forget to cut-out the label from the box if you want to redeem a rebate coupon. I like the product at the onset and threw away the box (and my $15 rebate). Was this review helpful?

This purchase has been a wonderful shopping experience. I've used the sling bag regularly and just used it today bringing my MacBook Pro to the library. I have not had much use for all the nooks and crannies so far but it is nice to know they are there if I need them sometime in the future. I like the way I can sling it on or off even with my bicycle helmet on without having to bother with the clasp. I can heartily recommend it to anyone needing to transport a 15" laptop.
The most surprising aspect was the remarkably speedy service. I ordered it on a Sunday by regular shipping (i.e. free). On Monday I was informed it had been shipped. On Tuesday at around noon it arrived. Since I used Google checkout for the first time I got an immediate $10 rebate. So for $24 I ordered and received the product in two days. That is the sort of bargain and service I used to get from Amazon back in the 90's. Congratulations to Buy.com for this instance of deja vu. Was this review helpful?

I really like my new Belkin Laptop Sling. I have an HP Pavillion 9500 series laptop - it is a 17". It is a very tight fit in the bag but it does zip close and the bag is very sleek. I just need this bag to protect my laptop and maybe carry a notebook and pen in. This is not much room for anything else. I think I can probably fit my power charger in the bag with my laptop but I have not tried yet. Also, know that the color of the bag is lighter in real life than it is in the photo. In the photo, the chocolate brown almost looks black, but in person the bag is definitely brown and pale blue.
While I like this bag - I was very unhappy with the service I recieved from Buy.com. I ordered the bag on Dec. 13 and it was not shipped out until Dec. 21 and it didn't arrive to me until Jan. 2! I contacted Buy.com several times and they just responded with automated emails that didn't address my specific question or disappointment with their very SLOW SERVICE. Was this review helpful?
