I purchased this surge protector for my network appliances. I have used others that alleged to protect the cable line, but they always degraded the single too much to be used. The cable modem could not maintain a stable connection. With the PureAV isolater I don't have that problem. I've been running the cable through the surge protector for a couple of months and never had a problem. the extra long conrd is great to have, and the wrap is really convenient. I'm not using it for all the functions it promises to deliver, but if the cable part works good, I feel confident the others will too.

This unit is a good value for a basic home theater system.
Although it does not afford some of the advanced protection features of more expensive units it seems to perform well. The TV signal protection works with both analog and digital TV signals.
The multi-tiered protection level is a bit hard to understand. The instruction manual is not clear on what (type) of A/V components should be plugged in to each tier. Two LED's indicate the status of the unit and if it is properly grounded. Was this review helpful?

The Belkin PureAV has solid steel construction, and looks amazing. This thing weighs something like 5 pounds! If the Belkin PureAV works as well as it looks good and feels solid, we will be in great shape. Was this review helpful?

This is an excellent surge protector. All you need to know is that the plugs are spaced about 2" apart, so you don't really need to worry about not being able to use all the plugs unless you have a super huge adapter.
The pricing is fair. The build is very sturdy. I believe I can use this surge protector for years. Was this review helpful?

I couldn't believe when I saw what price Buy.com was selling this PureAV Isolator for. A local store is currently selling the same exact product for almost three times as much! This is a beast of a surge protector. Heavy, solid, and plenty of room for equipment. Highly rated specs and highly recommended! Was this review helpful?
