5 of 5 Great Product Friday, May 08, 2009 BC from Denver, Colorado
I have used the older Models of the Belkin and this new product is far superior. No downloading from CD's, web sites, etc.. Just plug in and go. Does not need resetting as the older models required. I also can not figure out why they are sold in sets of two. I would like one more but instead I am just moving one from computer to computer. I did find a source that sells just one but the price was the same as buying two...go figure! Was this review helpful?

I bought this for my wife who's office PC was upstairs on the other side of the house from our wireless router. I tried a wireless repeater with inconsistant results and I didn't want to run an ethernet line to her location.
This device fit the bill perfectly. The install and set up was extremely simply and I haven't had a problem with it yet, (we've been using it for about a month now). I haven't noticed any connectivity issues and the speed is hitting the 100 Mbps threshold on large file transfers, (both PC NIC and router only have 100 Mb ports).
The only thing I don't like about this product is the price. $40-50 would be a more appropriate price and having to buy them in sets of two doesn't help.
For those who don't want to, or can't, go wireless and don't want to run cable, this is a good alternative. Was this review helpful?
