This is your basic extension outlet, with some built-it MOV's (metal oxide varistors) to act as surge suppressors. Nothing to get excited about, and it works as advertised. It also has a nice slim design, though it makes up for that by being rather wide. It has a cable management system, which assumes all cables have to route through one side of the outlet, but not the other. Dumb. Buy it, when on sale for $12-$15. It's worth it.

Overall this is a great surge protector, great specs, works as stated. The pros are that its got a really small profile, enough room for 8 plugs (4 normal, 4 abnormal). The wall plug is designed to fit close to the wall and not block the other outlet). The only con I have against this (and the only reason I give it some 4s) is that of the 4 spaced outlets, the middle 2 cannot support the special plugs that have been designed not to block outlets (typically cell phone chargers). So you can only have 2 of those (if you need all 8 outlets) on this at a given time. Overall a great buy.

Not much to say about this - great price for the product, does what it has to do. Love the slim body design.
