This item is ideal for my use. Power problems are not uncommon where I live. There are times I just want to charge a USB item and it seems there is always a use for some additional power plugs. This does all that. The power plugs offer surge protection. I can plug in both my cellphone and iPod USB cords for charging. Works for me. Was this review helpful?

I love the functionality of this for my frequent hotel stays where outlets are at a premium however this adapter is so big I question whether to pack it at times. I'm still on the lookout for a more compact charger to replace this one. Was this review helpful?

Overall, this is a great product. I keep it in my backpack so I can charge my laptop, camera battery, iPod at the same time while also accessing an external hard drive.

The swiveling feature is nice. Advertised as "360-degree rotating plug," but in practice it is very difficult to swivel (you must press a very stiff button) and I can only toggle a 90-degree swivel.

My only other complaints are its slightly bulky size, and the arrangement of its three outlets. It would be very nice to have one or both side outlets rotated 90-degrees, as my thicker plugs don't allow me to plug anything in next to them.

It's a little bigger and heavier than I expected, but still reasonably compact. It works well and is very handy to have. Hopefully I'll never need the protection, but it's hurricane season, so who knows? Was this review helpful?
