I bought this model for two reasons. One, because of the number of ports. Two, because it matched my iMac. Unfortunately, because of the color, it didn't qualify for the $10 rebate. I've had the unit for a month and it works just fine. I especially like the two vertical access ports for temporary hook ups. Was this review helpful?

And forget calling technical support or customer service. This is a piece of trash...I've had plenty of hubs, it's a pretty lo-tech item. When you do call Belkin, they have so many model numbers on recall you get the picture of why these are disposable.

The Belkin 7 port hub looks very good with my iMac and easily slides out of view when not in use. The two top ports are particularly handy when using a thumb drive. I heartily recommend it to you. I have several Belkin products, which have worked flawlessly and so far this hub has worked as expected.
