Bought this card because i was OUT! of USB's even with (2) USB hubs and (6) in the comptuer. But i do alot of scanning, printing and dual external backup every 30 min. And didn't want all that information to be traveling through 1 USB port and split to a million other things. So i got this card. Opened up the computer put it in, minutes later i was up again XP Pro found the driver without me doing ANYTHING just turned on the comp and was up! Was this review helpful?

Works great, just plug-N-play. I have the AMD Athlon processor on the Asus motherboard. All of my USB ports were all used up, even the 2 on the front of the computer, and I was constantly unplugging something to plug in something else. Now the problem is solved, I should have bought this a long time ago. Was this review helpful?

The installation of this Bellkin USB 5-port USB card was a breeze. After insertion the card worked beautifully. My previous card failed for some reason and I was delighted how well this one performed. Of course, the price was unbeatable, too. I was amazed that such a great card was offered at such a great price.

After purchasing a digital camera and mp3 player, I needed USB 2.0 for the 1st time. This card was the the least expensive option I found at the time for 4 USN slots; It took less than 5 minutes to install and run the CD program.
Works well, backward compatible with USB 1.1.

I bought an external Fantom drive from buy.com. I installed it, but it had lots of "Delayed Write Failed" errors on my Win2K desktop. The drive was not at fault, because it worked fine on my WinXP laptop. My research and troubleshooting led me to conclude I needed a dedicated USB 2.0 PCI card, and the Belkin seemed to receive positive chatter. I installed the card, and presto, my Fantom problems went away. This card is more expensive than some, but I'm happy because it solved my problem. Two other things: the instructions are very clear and the bubble packaging was easy to open, unlike seemingly every other packaging of this type that makes it nearly IMPOSSIBLE for the consumer to open it. A big thumbs up to Belkin for this product. Was this review helpful?
