4 of 5 Greatly Improved Reception Sunday, April 26, 2009 Marty from Pebble Beach, CA
These headphones improved the reception of my Pioneer Inno XM portable receiver by 100%. It made the Inno unit usable where, without the antenna-headphone unit, the Inno's reception was unacceptable. My only criticisms are the hard plastic earphones are not very comfortable in my ears, and the antenna-headphones stopped working after about 16 months requiring me to buy this replacement. 1 of 5 This thing hurts Tuesday, September 04, 2007 A Customer from Chicago, Illinois
I have a Pioneer Inno, and bought this product so I could listen to live xm radio while walking. It works very well as an antenna, as long as I was in open spaces. Too many trees blocks the signal, but I imagine that would happen anyway. Two huge drawbacks to this product: first, the earphone part of the antenna is made of very hard plastic, and could easily be used as a torture device. It literally hurts to wear this thing. Second, it quit working after two weeks (I think one of the wires that connects the antenna to the xm radio broke). I had it replaced (by Belkin), and the replacement broke after 3 weeks. 2 of 5 Great antenna, poor headphones Tuesday, August 07, 2007 bkozdemba_at_gmail_dot_com from Austin, TX
The signal reception of my Pioneer Inno is much better using these headphones, however, they are extremely uncomfortable and painful to wear. Also, the sound quality is poor if you compare them to the earbuds that came with the Inno. Was this review helpful?
