    received this surge protector pretty quick from Buy.com. The plug is nice and flat. I have not had any surges in my electricity yet, so I can't say much about if it will hold up or not. The only reason that I gave the performance a 4 is because there are 2 outlets in the unit that I can't seem to get a plug into. don't know why this is. I'm assuming that something might not be lined up right. I'm sure that if I play with it, that I can get them in, just have not had the need to yet.

    the flat plug is a great feature (saves a lot of space behind furiture and you can rotate the plug so the cord goes in any direction). Two unswitched outlets for items (like a phone) that need to plugged in and on all the time. They will be connected to power even though the power strip switch is turned off. The remaining outlets are switched and the power can be shut on or off at the power strip switch.
