Nicely designed, about as small as can be, a long needed solution to the problem of scarce FireWire ports, especially the 400s on newer equipment. Works fine.
I passed up bargains in external hard drives by limiting my choices to only those that had 2 400 FireWire ports so I could connect them in series, but now, owning this Belkin 6-port FireWire hub I'm free!

I consider the Belkin 6-port Firewire Hub essential for my new iMac. Apple has seen fit to reduce the number of Firewire 400 ports to one on the iMacs. The Belkin Hub works flawlessly and allows me to connect/disconnect my multiple Firewire external hard drives without having to get behind them to fiddle with the cables - something I'd have to do if I daisy-chained the drives.
