I bought these headphones so I could exercise early in the morning on my NordicTrac and watch tv without waking the whole house. These headphones work great for this purpose. The sound quality is good, even when I'm on a different "level" than the base (something they caution in the owner's manual can interfere with sound quality). I had a few hassles in setting it up (I had to run it through the vcr to be able to mute the tv and have sound only through the headphones), but once it was set up, it's very east to use. I am very satisfied.
