All the songs on Bad Kalic are based on the rhythm of the same name, not one of the most attractive rhythms, but one of the fiercest. Originally produced by Winston "Wee Pow" Powell for the Stone Love label, Bad Kalic is a combination of stomping bass, karate-chop cymbals, and a recurring horn section blast. It's near impossible to listen to the album from beginning to end without going crazy, but there are some excellent tracks. The brash nature of Bad Kalic calls for quick, loud vocals, with Elephant Man and Capleton doing it best.
