I had bought the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1600 but could not receive several channels so bought the Aver WinTV-HVR-1600 and received much better reception. Very will pleased with the card and the price Was this review helpful?

This tuner is a good value and a piece of cake to install. One thing to take note though, if you are not getting at least a 80% signal you will not get a picture. This unit does not pull in weak signals nearly as well as HD tuners for television applications. Was this review helpful?
