Buy.com was a very easy to use and efficient place to order this software. I would highly recommend them again.
I am glad I was able to purchase ACAD 2008 here. I would not ever purchase anything from AutoDesk themselves. The Customer Service I received from them was horrible. I would use another type of drafting software if I wasn't already so invested in their product. Was this review helpful?

I see Autodesk has not changed much in 20 years. AClt 08 finally has the basic drawing features that one would expect in an expensive 2d software program, but Autodesk will not allow you to insert any type of picture. That is 50% of my work which makes AClt useless in my contracting business and a waste of $770.. You will need to spend $4,000. for the full version of AC to get this rather inexpensive benefit. Make sure you download the 30 day trial version first and check everything before you purchase (AD will not extend the 30 days, so make sure you have the time to use it). I assumed that it allowed jpg insertion, as most $100.00 software programs do. Never assume! Buy.com does a great job, as they are one of my favorite e-tailers, but I suggest they stop the promo video unless AD wants to fess up to this on their web site. Was this review helpful?

AutoCAD LT has everything that I need from AutoCAD at 1/3 of the price. Buy.com offered the best price I could find for a truly authorized version. AutoCAD LT allows me to do all the work I need to do for Structural Engineering of architectural plans. It does not have 3D capabilities, but I never use that aspect. I would highly recomend LT version for someone who needs AutoCAD, but does not need all the bells and wistles. Was this review helpful?

After downloading a test copy of Autocad 20008 LT I decided to buy.
