| | | Audiovox's SIRPNP1 SIRIUS Shuttle brings you 100 streams of SIRIUS programming, on your couch or in your car! In tandem with Audiovox home and car kits (see below), you can transfer the Shuttle between your home and your vehicle, and only pay one subscription price.
The Shuttle tuner includes 8 control buttons (power, select, mode, band, memory, category, etc.), an encoder knob (for quick navigation through list/menus), and 10 number keys. The large, 4-line readout displays stream info, artist, song title, category title, and signal strength. You can program up to 30 presets of your favorite streams, as well as search by stream, artist name, or category. The 0-9 number pad on the tuner and on the full-function wireless remote allows direct access to your favorite streams.
How many times have you heard a great song on the radio, only to forget the details by the time you got home? The Shuttle has a built-in 10-song memory for title and artist -- it will not only alert you the next time the song plays on SIRIUS, but you can also use it as a handy shopping list the next time you visit your local or online music store. Look Ahead mode allows you to check out what's playing on other streams without interrupting the current program.
Note: To use the Shuttle, you must purchase an accompanying kit. There are three kits available (each includes a SIRIUS antenna, docking station, and power supply):
the car kit with RCA patch cable (designed for a car receiver with auxiliary inputs);
the car kit with wireless FM transmitter (designed for a car receiver that doesn't have auxiliary inputs);
the home kit.
The car kits include everything you need to play the Shuttle through your car stereo; the home kit lets you connect the Shuttle to your home stereo setup. A subscription to SIRIUS is also required.
SIRIUS offers 100 streams of top-notch entertainment for just $12.95 per month. Check out 60 streams of totally commercial-free music, which feature an incredible variety of songs from a wide range of genres. You'll also get 40 streams of news, talk, sports, and entertainment, including broadcasts of up to 40 NBA games a week during basketball season. (Satellite radio service is available only within the lower 48 states -- not available in Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories.) Subscribers can also take advantage of free online streaming of all SIRIUS music.
